We'll beat this shower of shite. Reg Vardey my arse, we've got Lou Kaku. Time for Leicester to start their inevitible slide down the table.
4-1 Lukaku, Foo, Hibbo and a Gary Lineker penalty. Peter Shilton with a last minute consolation for them.

Re: Everton v Leicester City
If we had beaten Norwich 4-0, or so, I would have felt very confident about this game, now I am not so sure. Cue 1-1.

We will win this game, as normal we struggle to beat lower opposition, big plus ''Robert Huth'' suspended.
3-1 the might blues,.

There's not many teams higher than them right now.
Think it'll be another draw. Lots of goals though.

I think we'll probably lose this. Leicester are properly on fire!
1-2 Early goal for us and then two in the second half for them.

Re: Everton v Leicester City
I think they are there for the beating.
Yes they playing very well. (We beat chelsea 3 -0) But I think our attack will cause them more problems than their attack will cause us. They have scored in every premier league game this season, time for that to come to an end.

BHE, was referring to are previous results of Bournemouth-Palace-Norwich City, Leicester are top ,we tend to play better against higher positioned teams.

Ahhhh - I see. I think I still see them as being lower opposition in spite of their league position.
Frustrating though - had we beaten Bournemouth, Palace and Norwich we would have been 4th now.

Re: Everton v Leicester City
There's a part of me that thinks this is just the sort of game we'll put 3 past them and win easily, but then there's this other part which thinks we'll get pulled all over the shop. Liecester basically play on the counter, so it sould in theory be quite easy to deal with them, however they do it so fast and so much better than most others that even if you're set up to deal with it, they'll still cause you problems.
McCarthy is a big miss for us, he goes off against bournemouth, we conceed 3 and haven't won since he's been injured. If he's back we have a fair to good chance, if not then it's a tough call.
Let's say 2-2 for old time's sake.

Leicester losing Huth is massive blow for them, I see it as a high scoring game ,us winning

Leicester have to hit the skids sooner than later, and we're just the kind of team who can do that to them. High scoring affair, but can imagine 5-2 to us on this occasion.

Re: Everton v Leicester City
I read that some Leicester fan had put a £5 bid on that they would be top of the table come xmas. He'd win £5,000 if true. So, in some way, I wouldn't be too upset if that were to happen, even if it meant they'd have to beat us.

They only have to draw with us for them to be top at Christmas, but I still hope they lose (and Arsenal and Man City draw - I'll take being knocked out of the Suicide Predictor so that the random bloke can win £5000).

This is a 6 pointer for us. If we want to finish top 4-5, we'll need to finish above Leicester.

The rate they're going, if we finish above them we may well be top.

Am I the only selfish bastard around here, couldn't careless about other fans winning money on the back of an Everton defeat or draw just so a Leicester fan can win 5 k,sorry but. I got Lukaku to beat Vardys record at odds 150 /1 so I want Lukaku to score and Everton to winKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:OK, sounds like a good compromise.Barry Horne's Equaliser wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I read that some Leicester fan had put a £5 bid on that they would be top of the table come xmas. I think you've misunderstood me. The Leicester fan can still win his bet if Everton beat Leicester and Man City draw with Arsenal. Everyone's a winner.

A brilliant exposition of a very worthwhile defence
