You don't have to beat the full back.
Just clip them like he did, then the full back gets second guessed over and over. Beats them on the outside or dinks them in like that.
Simple and effective.

That was one of the real positives of last night; the defender never knew whether Foo was going to leg him down to the line, or just stick it in the box early. Normally, sticking it in the box early just means an aimless cross that gets dealt with easily, but Foo seems to be able to conjur dangerous balls out of nowhere. With the RS central defence being their weak spot, this could be our best weapon.

The cross for the second was ridiculously good, pinged with curve. If it was easy you'd see more people do it. He's a flightly player but hopfully will mature like Ronaldo did, but what he has, you can't teach.
Re: West Brom v Everton 2-3
Let's be honest, Beckham made a whole career out of putting in a cross early and not actually beating a man.

this was so true, especially towards the end of his career when he was wearing an England shirtGravy & Chips wrote:Let's be honest, Beckham made a whole career out of putting in a cross early and not actually beating a man.

At 2-0 down, with the odds about 100-1 on Everton to win at this stage, I wonder what his cash out offer was. And also, did he really have time to think about cashing out? It was 2-1 within 30 seconds. I wonder if he was thinking "ahh, I'll give it five minutes and see what happens".

William Hill don't have a cash out option once the match starts.
He was offered just over £4,100 before the game kicked off.

Every time the bookie gets you to Cash Out, they have won. If they get everyone to cash out before the bet completes, they will make more than if they let the bets complete.
In this case, the punter had already won £8339.10 with the five predictions made previously, but was offered only 50% of that to cash out. I don't think the mathematician in me would have allowed me to cash out on that basis either.

That would be tempting. Who realistically would actually bet £8000 on West Brom vs Everton???
I'm not sure I would have had the foresight to do it, but having thought about it now I think that if I ever do such an accumulator with a deciding game on the Monday I'll split the bet into two - half on the bit that's finished before the last game (so I get something should this scenario occur) and the other half on the bet that includes the last game.
