Re: Tottenham v Everton 0-0
Had a feeling that we would come away with a point. Petty FooFoo didn't get a bit more time as we could have done a smash and grab.
Still ahead of Chelsea. Why would Stones go there

Can't see how Dier stayed on the field.mindyerho? wrote:I'd have taken 0-0 at kickoff.
Good game by Howard. Stones seemed to be over his paddy. Jags and Coleman fine. Kone excellent, as was Tom before he went off.
But Spurs could replace Arsenal as my most hated Landan team, with all the snidey little fouls and shirt-pulls, half of which weren't given!
There were several incidents when CL teams would have been rolling around and getting red cards for Alli and Dier. Too nice again.

Re: Tottenham v Everton 0-0
Finally watched the game this afternoon. I was out in the morning when the game was on, but I recorded it.
So, we were very fortunate to get a point. Tim MOTM by a mile.
Our midfield was lacking today. No creativity, just simply too many defensive players on the pitch with MCCarthy and Barry out there. And despite both of them being there Spurs had lots of room at times to move the ball around. And again another game with no proper width, even though Coleman tried, he was our second best player.
Oviedo struggled. And mightily so at times.
Kone holds up the ball well and was so close to scoring as well. Lukaku was just off today. Not that he had much to work off of, but dear me, some 10 foot passes back to a teammate goes to a Spurs player instead. Shocking control.
We were lucky as fook to get a point.
I am thinking that we will struggle to match last year's 11th spot in the league. Hope I am wrong of course!

Re: Tottenham v Everton 0-0
watched it at a BBQ with a Spuds mate... I have to say we very lucky to get a point & actually I'm happy with that given our recent results at the Lane.
I did embarrass myself with a 30 yard run around the garden screaming suuuuuuuupppeeeeeerrrrr Koneeeeeeeeeee & violently beating the CWC badge on my Rotterdam shirt when I thought he'd headed home... only to get back to the TV and a load of laughing people as it actually went wide
conclusion... good point, lucky, Kone couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, FooFoo should be starting... Besic was shit
