Stoke vs Everton
Big win coming up for the boys in blue.
I like how we have planned to lure this bunch of fuckers into a false sense of security by being shit for the past few months. Lennon will open his account by nailing 6 past these knuckle-dragging twats, Hibbo will come off the bench to get his hat-trick and Preki will finish the rout for us.
Who the fuckety fuck is Stan Matthews anyway.
1-0 to Stoke

I may win the league because of the other league members getting points knocked off them. I can't even get on here quickly because I am at the game.

Re: Stoke vs Everton
Getting really nervous about tonight's game , Sick and tired of Martinez patronising comments , He's got to change it if were going to win,
three holding players is to defensive, we have to go all out attack two wingers and either Barkley/Naismith played behind Lukaku, please don't up-set the balance by playing players out of position, would like to see McCarthy & Gibson paired in holding mid-field, Gibson gives us more creativity, but, we know the arrogant get will go with Barry.

TEAM NEWS
Stoke midfielder Stephen Ireland misses out after requiring stitches to a calf wound suffered against Hull. He could be replaced by Charlie Adam, who impressed as a half-time substitute on Saturday.
Everton will assess left-back Leighton Baines, who missed the defeat to Arsenal after suffering a minor thigh injury. If Baines is unavailable, youngster Luke Garbutt will continue to deputise. Christian Atsu remains out through illness, but is set to return to training on Friday.

I have completely lost interest in football this season, partly due to the birth of my daughter but mostly due to leaving Goodison in a pissed off mood now for fucking 7 months...

Mark Twattenburg is tonight's referee.

Re: Stoke vs Everton
I think everyone is predicting the same XI, play Gibson with Mccarthy, play both Mirallas and Lennon, get Naismith in there.............in reality, we know, Barkley will probably play wide left, Barry will for part of a defensive 3, we'll pass loads, not get anywhere then Howard will do something stupid and Adam will score the only goal.
Just saying

Re: Stoke vs Everton
Gibson seems to be the only midfielder looking for a forward pass of more than 5 yards.tadpole wrote:I think everyone is predicting the same XI, play Gibson with Mccarthy, play both Mirallas and Lennon, get Naismith in there.............in reality, we know, Barkley will probably play wide left, Barry will for part of a defensive 3, we'll pass loads, not get anywhere then Howard will do something stupid and Adam will score the only goal.

I think he can get the best out of Big Luke and KM.
Barry was great last season but it's gone a tits up for him this season, at least sometimes.
and we ask the question yet again, what the hell can we do with Ross? Does he need a new start somewhere else? It may be the only way the lad will achieve anything in his career, is if he gets new coaching? He has been the biggest disappointment of the season.

Barkley needs to be running at the defence, down the middle, with the ball at his feet. Lukaka needs to be running at the defence, from the inside or the outside, with the ball at his feet. Neither of them are doing that this season. Either the rest of the players in the PL have got a whole lot better, or Martinez is a twat who doesn't know how to get the best out of two of last season's most promising young players in the world.
Hmmm.
If I was Barkley I'd be thinking about a move. But he'd probably end up at Villa or somewhere like that. I don't think the big clubs would be interested any more. Is there any point in him moving sideways or backwards? Mind you, he'll be used to going sideways or backwards after working under Martinez this season.
Re: Stoke vs Everton
I consider our chances of beating Stoke at their place tonight as extremely slim.. they are in form, play hard, counter attack & hoof like beggary .. .they will be way too strong for our ticky tacky winky wanky shitty shat in your pants style of Spanish induced dross
2-0 to the cloggers... minimum

Utter Bollox mate 0-1 Everton, Naismith has a wankfest as Ossie Comes on scores first kick the match.
Re: Stoke vs Everton
IF they get in our faces, then we will have to pass the ball quicker {clutching at straws here} then we just might win this one.
Hopefully Lukaku will bring his Europa boots with him.

Re: Stoke vs Everton
Garbutt and Gibson stay in the team as Roberto persists with three central midfielders which once again will isolate the front three. Cant say I have any expectation for tonight. Anything will be a bonus.

Good to see Gibson in, but that's three CMs and only one winger.

Problems here. Stoke midfielder Glenn Whelan appears to have injured his right knee during the warm-up. He needs some treatment and looks in some strife. Not a good start to the night.
We're saved.

Wrong thread I know, but just checked Google Earth and Kiev is the same distance away as Southern Italy and about 40 minutes more flying time than Southern Spain.
I feel marginally better now.
So how about the Potters huh?

So, one winger on the pitch then. Well balanced team again. Sigh.Made 4 Gwladys wrote: Howard, Garbutt, Stones, Jagielka (c), Coleman, Barry, McCarthy, Gibson, Lennon, Naismith, Lukaku.
