Didn't they introduce a penny in the pound tax a few years ago.

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Garbutt with a disappointing freekick in to the box, straight in to the hands of Ospina. Unfortunate since we had loads of bodies in the box waiting for the ball.

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
When Arsenal have the ball in our half, there is more pace about their play. More Arsenal period now, they are taking over.

If you're in the right scheme it's easy to avoid that penny ... Should we run a sweep for when Arsenal score and destroy all of our ticky-tacky work?

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Gabriel with some brilliant defending on Lukaku, Arsenal counter attack and Jags to the rescue.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
I think they will score before halftime now. 43 minute.Statman wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:When Arsenal have the ball in our half, there is more pace about their play. More Arsenal period now, they are taking over.

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
When we have the ball in the Arsenal half, they back off and close down all the open areas in front of their 18 yard box, making us stall and breaking down. It's what all teams do and we are not good enough to unlock a a defense with 8-9 men defending deep.

Keaton Clark: Every time I watch Everton play there's always something missing. Feels like 90% of what they do amounts to nothing.
You are correct mate.

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Halftime, 1-0.
We started pretty well, but I think it was more down to Arsenal sitting deep soaking up the pressure and giving us time with the ball in the middle of the pitch.
Then after some 30 minutes they started going forward a bit and all of a sudden they were well on top and the goal, naturally, came.
I wish I could predict what Martinez will do. Oh wait, I think I do know - nothing.
