Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Mertesacker has a poor game and he is put on the bench. I wish Martinez would consider doing the same....

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Bit crap that an Everton win will massively help the RS.

Got to think about ourselves at the moment. A win today and a win on Wednesday would change the outlook of our season.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
A win would put some ground between us and the relegation zone, so yeah, you are of course correct.Dixie Land wrote:Statman wrote:Bit crap that an Everton win will massively help the RS.

Pretty promising start in that we are keeping hold of the ball pretty well at least.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Besic with a shot. Almost hits it out of the stadium. But that's OK. Need to take a pop at goal at times.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Berry lazy on the ball and loses possession in the own 1/3, could have been very dangerous.

Besic with 2 World Class step overs before taking on 3 defenders and making the keeper make an amazing save... just kidding.

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
A bit surprising to see how deep Arsenal are defending. Seems like they are willing to let us pass the ball around in their half and then relying on quick counter attacks. But they are very deep to do that. Strange stuff.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Coleman looks far livelier in this game. Getting some joy getting forward on the right. Barkley is getting into space on the left but can't cross with his left foot. Feel sorry for him being so out of position.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Mirallas clashes in to Sanchez. He should have been booked I feel, but wasn't. Lucky boy.

Twice he turned back to make the pass with his right foot.Dixie Land wrote:Coleman looks far livelier in this game. Getting some joy getting forward on the right. Barkley is getting into space on the left but can't cross with his left foot. Feel sorry for him being so out of position.
Uh Bobby, what's going on here with the tactics? I get the impression he picks the best players and then puts then on to the pitch with little regard to if they can play where he has put them.
Re: Arsenal vs Everton
Ars should be up. Giroud will not be happy to see the replay of that chance tonight.

Re: Arsenal vs Everton
A bit more Arsenal now. Looking at attacking with pace. Just like us then, cough.
