newcastle vs everton
enough is enough, last game of the current year, and a pre cursor for next year
a good solid away performance by the boys in blue will give us all 3 points.
the players will be away from home with no fan pressure, and will take all 3 points to kick start our miserable season
1-2 lukaku and nais on the scoresheet

Re: newcastle vs everton
I really think we might just survive this season .... but only just.... unless there are some serious changes in tactics by RM
He can't keep saying it worked last season..... IT IS NOT WORKING THIS SEASON RM ... CHANGE THINGS
I can't see us getting a win at the Barcodes, they are having a poor run .. but we will soon change that for them
3-0 Roll on 2015

Re: newcastle vs everton
It's like the second season syndrome like Moyes when he finished 17th.
Only then we had a little bit of fight. There is nothing left in this team and come May they have one less fan, as they can fuck off if they think I am renewing.

Re: newcastle vs everton
We are going to be down to bare bones.
I'd seriously think about playing either Coleman or Baines on the wings.
Naismith is suspended so it'll be Roman and Samuel up top.
Robles in goal to gift them 2 goals.

After reading the injury list, I'm beginning to wish I hadn't started this thread, but the optimistic half of me keeps the faith

Re: newcastle vs everton
Robles; Coleman, Distin, Alcaraz, Garbutt; Barry (C), McCarthy, McGeady, Baines, Eto'o, Kone.
Fook. Bobby makes some radical changes at last!
Luka dropped! Barkley dropped! Mirallas dropped! Kone starts! Garbutt given his chance!

Re: newcastle vs everton
On paper, looks a pretty suspect team but maybe Garbutt and Kone can bring a bit of enthusiasm and energy to the side. Garbutt and Baines up the left could be interesting. At least we have width today. Be worried about centre of defence and Wobbles behind them. Especially as Perez for Newcastle looks tricky. Take a draw to stop the rot.

To be fair, we're doomed whatever side Bobby picks, with the injuries and how shite we've been playing. At least we seem to have a bit of width here.
0-3 Garbutt hat-trick

Re: newcastle vs everton
By the way, who the fuck is Griffiths? Is that Pete Griffiths, who used to be the bass player in the Spitfire Boys back in 1977? He must be nearly 60. Should fit in okay.

Yeah, I wouldn't have any confidence in any of our "star" players on the bench to rouse the team so give some else a shot. In fact play the team that lost to Kraznador. Fuck it, throw on Ferguson and Bobby himself.

Yup, we've been fucking awful. He has to try something different. At least if we lose 6-0 we know what we're fucked whoever gets picked, so we can sack Bobby and get someone in who actually keeps teams up rather than getting them relegated. I mean, seriously, if we end up fighting for our PL place, I'm not sure I'd want Martinez in charge.
Re: newcastle vs everton
Question is: who is LB Baines or Garbutt? On the only evidence we have, I'd put Baines at the back and let Garbutt take the LM/winger role. I bet Bobby does it the other way round though. Garbutt looked sensational going forward but very dodgy at the back when he played. Mind you ,Baines has looked dodgy in both roles this season. At least let Garbutt take all the corners and wide free kicks though.

Mirallas had a knock as did a few others from those fucking cloggers. So I suspect most changes are forced onto him. Hoping for a decent stream at least, we had 62% possession against Stoke but I never had a feed for more than a minute at a time so I wouldn't know. Maybe it's on US TV being teh last game

This is also true. He could play Messi, Ronaldo , Dixie Dean and the elite squad of the SAS in front of Joel, and we'd still get fucked.
