I think we've done ok in the second half. Some of our team are barely old enough to drive so to hold their own against experienced internationals is impressive. Kone did ok too Shocked

All over. Good experience for the young lads and awesome to see Kone complete 90mins in the blue shirt.

Garbutt man of the match for me.

Garbutt MOTM by a mile but needs to learn how to defend. McAleny trying too hard, like he feels time is runnign out for him, which it probably is. Kone better than Luka, but Luka scores. Pienaar past his sell by date. Oviedo needs more time. Browning okay, Ledson okay, Alcarazy and Joel should never play for Everton again.

Midfield was a mess tonight.
Need to stick ossie or besic in the middle with Ledson to give him the support he needed. Or put barry there if you're going to play him. Centre half FFS!  Everton v FK Krasnodar - Page 6 Doh

Too many changes to really know much about the youth. Stick in 3-4 with the regular side and you might see how they work, but Dowell, Mac, Ledson, Browning, Garbutt along with a load of chuffers who've hardly seen game time in months or even years and you get that sort of performance. The philosophy looked the same though, Move it wide then come in field and leave them loads of time to get men back.

Yes, same system for sure, really fucking slow and allows the opposition to crowd out players on the ball. Our only ploy is the attacking left back, whether it's Baines or Garbutt. Really looking stale now. McAleney was doing a Barkley, running round in circles then losing the ball. It was familiar stuff, but with worse players.

Was quite surprised by Kones work-out tonight, he holds the ball up quite well and has a better first touch than Lukaku, could be a decent acquisition to the squad if he stays fit.
Garbutt had a good game but needs to knock the tricks on the head, browning looks a good prospect too, overall it was good playing time for Kone-Oviedo-Pienaar, the youngsters got a bit of European experience tonight ,Hopefully Martinez sees we need a back-up keeper to Howard, Robles is not Premiership standard.

I thought overall the Kids and Crocs did well

It was good see every corner getting passed the first man for a change.

We have some good youngsters - some will make it

though there were some good performances,

Garbutt could go onto be a top player, Harrogate biy done good, I can see him going on loan to a decent championship team in Jan

Ledley, looked lost first half improved massively second and looked very bright

Kone, decent shift, worked hard and held up the ball well. one of the only senior players who seemed to help the kids.

less impressed with the likes of

Robles, if i'd let in that goal in 6 aside i'd be dropped! FFS sack of shit that lad

Browning, not convinced on him, looks like he could end up in championship

McAleny's great at running down blind alleys, sometimes lacked support but more often just didn't release the ball.

Pienaar just isn't the same player and hasn't been for a while now

also puzzled by the lineup, understand resting the first teamers but needed better leadership in the middle and the defense was a shambles

Word is that Garbutt spent today's training session showing Baines how to hit a corner, had him doing it over and over again til he got it right.

Joking of course, but it would have been a good idea. Why can't the senior pros learn from the kiddies? Garbutt's crosses from free kicks and corners were miles better than anything Baines has put in recently.
