Everton 2 West Ham 1 (Lukaku, Osman)
Saturday 22 Nov at 3pm... yes it's 3pm on a Saturday !!!.. a bloody rarity in this seasons wafer ridden fixture list.
This is the first of 8 games in a 28 days period of time so we are going to need our crocks back (apart from Kone who can just fuck off to Levante!)
Wet Spam unbelievaby lie in 4th spot.. are they the real deal this season (my arse) or has Fat Sam blown his fat early? (not a pretty thought)
It's gonna be a Lukaku wankfest on the 606 match thread posting with a 4-0 spanking... Luka hat-trick & Tommie Gravesen 45yard free kick.. Shergar Carroll to feature for the spammers but will be pulled up at the 3rd with a damaged fetlock after messing with Hibbo.

This will be very tight, defences will have the upper hand, and I wouldn't be surprised if it finished 0-0, with Lukaku bagging a brace and McCarthy hitting a 40 yard screamer into the top corner.
One to watch: Kone, making a surprise appearance throwing toffees into the boys pen dressed as a lady, before being carried off with a sprained elbow.

me too... however in this case I'm pleased we have a chance to get our injury list reduced.Albert wrote:Super wrote:Buzzing for this match. Only 270hrs till kick off!

Would be a total disaster though if any of our internationals get injured while on duty, especially Jags given our CB predicament.

Nais needs to start, he's got the work ethic to cause them some problems. Drop Lukaku and bring him on late.

Suprised its not been moved for TV. Would be a decent game as long as SAints are still doing well.

Moose Carroll will be back, so expect this game to go the full 12 rounds.
Aerial bombardment all the way.
The way to defeat this idea and just block the goal completely is to get this man
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2014/11/11/southall-salutes-howard
This will not finish 11 v 11, and I don't mean the score.
Let's just go out and thump 'em!
In the meantime it's the 1 meaningless weekend ahead.

and then...
Darron Gibson has been released from the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of Tuesday’s friendly against the United States in Dublin.
The midfielder played 69 minutes in their 1-0 defeat to Scotland on Friday evening but has now returned to Everton after receiving a minor knock to the knee.

And he was shite. Nowhere near match sharp. Time to start Besic? Media here trying to create a story that McCarthy may have been fit but unwilling to chance his hamstring on Friday. And the way the tackles were flying in against Scotland, glad he didn't!
