High tempo, looking to go forward with nice passes. It sure appears to be a good buy.Helenqu wrote:Besic is wonderful!! What a buy!
Re: Ossie's game
Are Porto playing with 13 men? They are bossing the game and seem to have players all over the place outnumbering us all the time.

Re: Ossie's game
Hibbert with a great pass to Ossie in the box who takes the shot. The defender blocks it with, erm, his crown jewels.

Do you have BOTH English and Arabic (?) commentary in that feed?Helenqu wrote:http://cricfree.sx/live/watch/everton_vs_porto/48733

Re: Ossie's game
Looks like we are about to make even more changes here with just some 7 minutes remaining.
Re: Ossie's game
What did we see today.
Hibbert still has it in him to play a good part in this year's games.
You don't realise how good a player is until he's not in the team. McCarthy, Dizzie, Stones and the absent Lukaku.
McGeedy may have lost weight, but oh dear.
We have an interesting crop of academy players and Robby is obviously keen to use them in certain games this year.
Robles still doesn't know whether to catch or punch.
We need at least 1 more striker as Big Luke's back up. I'm discounting Kone.
and Besic in going to be a big crowd pleaser. and I mean big. This could be the steal of the decade at £3.5M

Heard he was dire! Im not sure if he's premiership player.
Hopefully wont fall into the same category as Robles, Alcatraz and Kone but I have my concerns.

Re: Ossie's game
I thought he was a bit uneven, struggled yes, but also showed some good moves on the right wing. Example - get past the defender with ease and then cross the ball into the box, but over hits it by close to 20 yards into the stands.Cahill the Great wrote:Yankthattoffee wrote:What did we see today.

He showed some real touches of class toward the end of last season. I think he's a confidence player, when it's high he'll be great, when it's low he'll make silly mistakes.

I thought he was dreadful. Mind you, Martins Indi is one tough dude.

Re: Ossie's game
He has had better days, no doubt, but he did have some good moves as well I thought. You could tell he was getting frustrated as well, like the time he lost the ball after another poor first touch and he started chasing the ball "halfway" across the pitch snipping at the Porto player's heels.Yankthattoffee wrote:That's very kind of you KOT.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I thought he was a bit uneven, struggled yes, but also showed some good moves on the right wing. I haven't given up on him. It's still pre-season.
