Everton 4 Stoke City 0 (Deulofeu, Coleman, Oviedo, Lukaku)
Dixie's Juggernaut* continues.
If we can play with the same passion and intensity as we did against the shite then we should win this easily. Stoke are a fucking bag of wank and we should show Mark Hughes what a big club looks like. Lukaku won't be bullied by the clayhead cloggers and we will win this 2-0 with goals from Lukaku and Barkley.
COME ON YOU BLUES!!!
*Anyone know the film the picture is from by the way?

The film is "Duel" starring Denis Weaver. The film was I believe Spielberg's debut motion picture. It was a tight suspenseful thriller well worth a watch. On the back of it Spielberg went to make Jaws and the rest is history.....Dixie Land wrote:Dixie's Juggernaut* continues.

Let me start the "who will replace Baines?" sub-thread.
I'll stick with my gut feeling of Alcaraz.
I know there are various permutations, including J5 or Stones coming in, and Dizzie going to LB, or just a straight swap for Oviedo, but none of them work for me. The Alcki is the man for me.

I can see him playing Barry at LB and putting Osman back into the midfield.Yankthattoffee wrote:Let me start the "who will replace Baines?" sub-thread.

I hope not. We need Barry in midfield otherwise we have no holding midfielder (I'm not counting McCarthy because he's rubbish).Dixie Land wrote:I can see him playing Barry at LB and putting Osman back into the midfield.Yankthattoffee wrote:Let me start the "who will replace Baines?" sub-thread.

The way Baines has been playing the last few games, I don't think we will miss him that much.
Oviedo has pace so I would go with him,Keep Barry in Midfield can't trust MaCarthy ? gives the ball away too much.
2-0 The mighty Blues
Re: Everton 4 Stoke City 0 (Deulofeu, Coleman, Oviedo, Lukaku)
BO seems to be a bit of a headless chicken. Some pace, but little reading of the game. I can't see him making it at all.sefton wrote:The way Baines has been playing the last few games, I don't think we will miss him that much.Yankthattoffee wrote:Let me start the "who will replace Baines?" sub-thread.

Keeping Barry in midfiled is a must. The engine room is just beginning to click. No need to break it all up.
Stones, J5 and Alci all have a chance.

Re: Everton 4 Stoke City 0 (Deulofeu, Coleman, Oviedo, Lukaku)
"Alcaraz is ready now. We had a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier in the week and he came through that," said the Toffees boss.
"Now it is just measuring his match fitness and being able to give him the time he needs to pick up the pace.
"He is fully fit, anxious to come back and help the team which is a positive point.
"It is important he is fully fit for the Christmas period because we are going to need everyone and Antolin needs to be ready.
"What I'm not going to do is push him too early after the spell he had to endure on the sidelines."
So I might reassess my prediction......................

Think you might struggle for links to watch this game.
The EPL have told Al jazeera sports they can only show one live saturday 3pm game per week untill Al Jazeera improve their anti-piracy software.
The Everton game is NOT on live this weekend on Al jazeera sports.

I even tweeted Richard Keyes (he hosts the Al Jazeera games along with Andy Gray) and he even replied to me saying the game is not on live on tv.

I hope Foo Foo takes his chance today. Shows lots of promise but just needs to show that bit of maturity in his decision making in and around the 18 yard box.
Can't understand why we'd drop Barkley to the bench after his permformance against the shite last week.
