Hull could still get something from this. If they get another corner....

this is worth waking up for though.Made FooFoo Gwladys wrote:Nais for Barks .. .we're trying to throw it away
Yes it's Hull. We haven't had many chances, but we look fucking good on the ball. Me like.

Baines booked for diving

Good three points. We were pretty poor at times and lacked urgency for much of the game but Hull were pretty decent in defence to be fair.
Baines booked for diving is not something you will often see.

Manure draw at home.
Welcome to our world mate. That goal was the direct result of Moyes' negative substitutions. Not for the first time this season.

Re: Everton 2 Hull 1 (Barry, Pienaar)
Had a feeling today might be a messy game, especially with so many players away on International duty. Great to get the three points in the end. Well done Blues.

Re: Everton 2 Hull 1 (Barry, Pienaar)
I thought we were decent. It was good we were playing a team like Hull. They were good, but not great. They gave us time to practice what we're trying to do, well that's what i thought.
I liked this....
Steven Pienaar on the goal celebration that saw him adjust a South Africa flag at the front of the Park End: "When I came out before the game I saw it was upside down and every time I looked over it was annoying me. I didn't want to get booked."
... he got booked.

Re: Everton 2 Hull 1 (Barry, Pienaar)
As someone said on Toffeepleb, Kone was bought to be our main striker. Now that is really fucking scary.

While I am happy with Martinez I think... his purchases have been awfulhairy cataract wrote:As someone said on Toffeepleb, Kone was bought to be our main striker. Now that is really fucking scary.
Kone - shite
McCarthy - way overpriced// average
Alcatraz - sicknote
Roble - ok as a backup... but I could even do that job 99% of the time
loans are very good... foofoo, Barry & Luka ... but they aren't our players are they

I think McCarthy will come good for us, he's still only young and he worked his socks off today. The Kone and Alcatraz I agree with you. Overall at the moment we have occasionally wonderful, purple patches of play that we rarely had under Moyes and that's really encouraging. We are like an unfinished jigsaw puzzle with bits of sky and grass missing but you can see what the picture should beMade FooFoo Gwladys wrote:While I am happy with Martinez I think... his purchases have been awfulhairy cataract wrote:As someone said on Toffeepleb, Kone was bought to be our main striker. Re: Everton 2 Hull 1 (Barry, Pienaar)
yeah, I think McCarthy is a decent signing and may well turn out to be worth the money. He hasn't done much wrong in his performances so far, and is starting to impose himself on games more as his confidence grows. I particularly liked the way he seemed to be fouled at one point but, instead of lying on the ground moaning, he hauled himself up and won the ball back off the player who had fouled him.Helenqu wrote:I think McCarthy will come good for us, he's still only young and he worked his socks off today. Kone looks like a typical Moyes striker - lower end of the PL standard, but only just.

Kone is poor. I hope he can find the net.
HOWEVER if Kone gets a game before Jelavic. Then please see my original comment on Jelavic.

Also glad Pienaar is back. Osman isn't a Left Winger (sic).
