"Unfortunately", I think he is going to have a massive impact at the World Cup. Outside bet for top scorer with the type of players he has around him creating chances for him. Even if Belgium get knocked out in second round, he could score a hatful against the likes of Russia, Korea and Algeria. That injury layoff has really helped his freshness at this stage of the season. Came back scoring for us and now is scoring for fun for Belgium. 5 goals in 3 friendlies in last week.

Could be a £30m plus player in a few weeks.

I think realistically the only chance for us will be if he has a disastrous world cup for some reason. He will go for 30m+ with a good world cup and we need a new stadium :-)

Setanta showing Belgium against Tunisia tonight. Last game for Belgium before they fly out to Brazil. Lukaku been in red hot form so would expect him to be amongst the goals tonight. With Benteke out injured, Lukaku is the main man upfront for Belgium. Worth a few quid as top scorer. Think he will be out of our reach come July. No

we need to sign him now, before the WC kicks off...  I'd have very little issue if we used all our funds on him... and filled the squad with our up & coming lads like McAleny, Duffy, George Green, Mat Kennedy , etc .. .+ a few loans

Fuck him, he's a big-shot mercenary, he'll go to any club that will offer him the "platform" to express his true genius. CL and loads of wonga. If the Shite came calling he'd jump at it.

We need to look at what we achieved last season, and where that places us. In the case of the Shite, getting CL and nearly winning the league means all the knobs like Lalallalalala want to go there - he would have laughed in their faces a season ago. In our case, any young future star - like Lukaku and Foo - will be desperate to play for Bobby because he knows he'll get a chance, and he knows he'll play good footie. I'm just hoping Bobby has a short-list of 20 year olds who are currently bench warming at money clubs.
