He's been excellent in patches this season. But the last 3-4 games he's been really good.
Deulofeu is no real substitute. Get McGeady on.
Agreed on all counts.

start McGreedy and then swap him for Doolafoo for the last 30 minutes of the gameGoodison_Gringo wrote:Tonteau wrote:Goodison_Gringo wrote:Bugger. I thought he was excellent on Sunday.

This is a bummer. But at least we do have options these days, and quality ones as well.

2 years ago it was Hibbert at RB with Coleman in front of him.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:This is a bummer. But at least we do have options these days, and quality ones as well.
Loads of options.
Piece of piss this manager thing.

Sadly we never have a full squad. We'd have a decent enough line up to challenge for silverware with Ross etc fully fit.Super wrote:Out for eight weeks apparently.

Massive blow. With him and Barkley out, we're really lacking inspiration up front.

I wonder, with the lack central midfielders available, this is why Ryan Ledson has been included in squad, he's done well for England youth.
with Mirallas unavailable for 8 weeks, Pienaar needs to be fit, any news on his return?

I'm reading lots & lots of shit today that the shite are going to bid for Super Kev in January ... and we are willing to listen as he only has 1 year left on his contract... and says he won't renew unless we get into Champions League....
..someone should tell him the shite won't be in Europe at all, so that would be a bad move.
Is Kev getting too big for his Everton boots ??????
hmmmmm.... If he joined the shite I think I'd hate him more than Barmby

Without a doubt. he thinks he is so much better than he actually is.
He fucked us in the Hull game by trying to be billy big bollocks with his twatty chip/flick just after half time.
All of us that go the game say the same about him. If he is such a good player then why doesn't he impose himself on games much more than he does now?
I can count on one hand the number of games where he has played an absolute stormer, probably on a couple of fingers really.
He can go and fuck off, we won't miss him half as much as he thinks we will.

Re: 11. Kevin Mira11as - now "trying" his luck in Italy
We will miss his direct runs, assists and goals. He can be a bit of a nob and some of his tackles this year have been very petulant, but he's a good player. If he goes to the shite, then he has no idea what he's letting himself in for.
That said, it's good practise to take internet rumours with a spade or two of salt.

There is no doubt that he is a good player, just not as good as he thinks he is.
His goals aren't all that many, still to get into double figures for us in the 3 seasons he has been here.
I don't want him to go, but am not in the slightest bit arsed if he does.
Twatty hair, wears gloves and is a shithouse when it comes to tackles (apart from the great one on Ratboy)

No way will this happen, Mirralas needs to knuckle down before he loses faith with the fans.
As for going to the shyte, the only way they will get a chance of playing in champions league next season is if UEFA award them the Europa Cup now for past achievements .

Complete nonsense rumour. This won't happen. In all likelihood he'll sign an extension at the end of the season.
He's a quality player who could be, and hopefully will be, better. I get the feeling he's a bit of a tit but we aren't talking Suarez, Sterling, Gerrard proportions.

Bit odd since he is their number 1 hate-boy following the tackle on Ratboy.

We're pretty hopeless at the moment with Kev in the side, so we'd be relegation-fodder without him.

It would be interesting to see how many full 90 minutes he has played.
Now that we've focused on him, has he really lived up to his promise?

He has started 10 games in all competitions for us so far this season and has completed the full 90 mins.............. 3 times.

.. but when he's on the pitch I feel a sense of optimism, that we can get a goal out of nothing. Something that has been sadly lacking in general so far this season. I realise not everyone agrees however.

I agree and I think he's having as good a season as he's ever had with us too. At least he won't be cheap for whoever he goes too.
