Howard with the save and that is that.
Poor second half performance from Everton, should be going back with all 3pts if upped the game in the 2nd half.

Nothing wrong with our performance - just a bit unlucky not to take the 3 points - but - one more point in our quest to finish above The Shite.
3 points ahead 3 goals & a trip to Wolves to (hopefully) lie dormie over that lot..
Wolves v Everton
Shite v Chelsea
Everton v Newcastle
Swansea v Shite

Point gained i suppose. Not many teams go to that shithole and get something from the cloggers. Absolutely horrible team to watch, playing bullyboy aimless hoof ball. Seemed to unsettle us, especially in second half.
Decent win against Wolves on Sunday and 7th should be ours.

got dragged into a meeting at 0-1. Got back at 1-1 with Jerome bearing down on Howard.
I'll take the point though.

A little bit of angry afters at the final whistle at the Britannia Stadium as Tim Howard has to be held back by Marouane Fellaini. Not sure what that was all about to be honest, but the Everton goalkeeper looked like he wanted to a point loud and clear to a couple of the Stoke players.
From the Beeb. I presume it means make a point loud and clear though.
Re: Filthy Stoke Cloggers 1 Everton 1 (o.g.)
In announcing Delap's new one-year contract before kick-off, manager Pulis had claimed his veteran midfielder offers much more than just his famed long throw.
What else then?

Re: Filthy Stoke Cloggers 1 Everton 1 (o.g.)
I can understand that Pulis has to play to his teams strengths, but bloody hell, it takes the piss.
It is literally like a game of rugby, long balls to win throw in's to throw in the box, and any throw in inside the opposition half is getting thrown in the box, and then there is the throws themselves, they don't even contemplate a quick throw, if Delap is on the pitch he comes over from wherever he is and he takes it, it is like a set-piece, takes ages as well.
I don't want to sound like a football snob but it would do my head in watching that every week, even Everton at their worst at least try to play a bit of football, and last night there was only one team playing football.
Everton weren't on it last night, a few players looked tired and it just didn't click, if they could have managed a second goal it would have killed the game off.
Also, Stoke fans are one step up from apes, one bloke was trying to get a "Liverpool, Liverpool" song going, pathetic and small time.

I don't mind the throw ins so much. I think if one of our players had a throw like Delap's we would use it at every opportunity too. And if you watch how often teams give possession away straight from a throw in you can understand why Stoke launch it into the box at every opportunity.
They are still a bunch of cloggers though
