Yeah, just read that. Thanks. Very unfortunate of course. Hopefully they can work it out.the jellyman wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Makes you wonder what's going on with Drenthe. Odd stuff.

Assuming we'll see Anichebe wide tonight? Osman other wise, Fellaini and Gibson middle, Cahill of Jelavic......
Neville at RB (Or Hibbo)
2 from 3 of Jags, Heitenga (Surely not benched again?) and Distin, Baines at LB
I feel sorry for the neutral viewer on ITV if that is the case. Mildly useful as an impact sub, utterly useless otherwise.

I'm being made go for dinner tonight with the future in laws. Not happy about it.

I'm guessing Moyes will play Osman & Geuye on the wings, Fellaini and Gibson in the middle. Going to be a long slog tomorrow. just hope the players can raise themselves after a heavy fixture list lately.
Everton: Howard; Neville, Heitinga, Distin, Baines; Osman, Fellaini, Gibson, Gueye; Cahill; Jelavic.
Subs: Hahnemann, Hibbert, Jagielka, McFadden, Anichebe, Duffy, Stracqualursi
As expected. At least Anichebe isn't starting. Bench looks a bit weak. COYBs

Nice to see that Heitinga keeps his spot. He has earned it after all.Bluejags wrote:\Bluejags wrote:No Pienaar, Drenthe, or Coleman and Donovan gone. Sunderland: Mignolet, Bardsley, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bridge, Larsson, Cattermole, Gardner, McClean, Sessegnon, Bendtner. Subs: Gordon, Campbell, Kilgallon, Vaughan, Ji, Meyler, Elmohamady.
Fellaini will have painful memories of this clown. Sessegnon and McClean the obvious dangers for Sunderland.

Huge bank of Everton fans behind the goal in great voice. But fuck, I'm a bag of nerves. Just hope we don't start like we did in first tie. Still lucky charm Gibbo is playing so all good.

Cahill has some shiner from head clash. We can diffo get in behind them. Kyrgiakos is a serious liability.

Re: Sunderland 0 Everton 2 (Jelavic, Vaughan o.g.)
There is a wonderful, old-fashioned cup-tie atmosphere at the Stadium of Light helped by a huge following from Merseyside. Nothing to speak of in terms of chances yet.

Re: Sunderland 0 Everton 2 (Jelavic, Vaughan o.g.)
Everton's Tim Cahill, sporting a swollen cheek after an early clash of heads, hits the first shot on target at the Stadium of Light but it's a comfortable save for home keeper Simon Mignolet.
Re: Sunderland 0 Everton 2 (Jelavic, Vaughan o.g.)
point blank save from Mignolet form Cahill header,,, how did we not score

Next corner. Cahill header again but easier save from keeper. Sunderland diffo not solid at the back. He could make hay with decent service.
