Didn't expect us to win that one to be honest. A good start to my 101 match unbeaten run.
Cracking free kick by Bainsey - very similar to the one he got against Spuds last season.

Near enough. But there are ways to do it which have a bit more thought behind them than just lump it up. Pressuring the midfield and denying them space, kinda tactics we use against spurs quite effectively the past few seasons, exploiting set pieces and trying to make the most of their weaknesses in the air.
Well, we've not lumped it. In fact, I think we've played rather well. They're not barcelona, FFS. COYB!

Agreed, we played some really good passing play ourselves at times and it ended up being a straight forward win. Maybe they are not Barcelona but, going into this game, they had only lost two from fourteen at home which is much better than we've managed!
A good job well done.

Good three points away from home, now let's get some consistency back

Re: Swansea 0 Everton 2 (Baines, Jelavic)
Great to read the thread and feel the excitement when we win.
Sounds like we played very well. Now it's time to recharge the batteries and play well, and win, on Tuesday.

Re: Swansea 0 Everton 2 (Baines, Jelavic)
Great win for us and only the 3rd team to win at Swansea all season.
Also an added bonus that I made Baines my captain on Fantasy Football last week because Everton had 2 games and I forgot to change it back.

I see Keith Wyness is a fan of Mr Denneheys, keeps praising it on Twitter. He is in NYC to setup the 20/20..
