Pip back in midfield is a big worry, especially if we have to go chasing a deficit.
A lot rest on Fellaini to show some class and Drenthe to produce some cutting edge without fucking up. I can see Blackpool having a lot of possession. We will miss an Osman, Donny or Pienaar in there to show some composure under pressure.
Hopefully our confidence can see us through this but can see Blackpool having a real go and take it back to Bloomfield Road.
But then again, Blackpool have never met the Straq!
At least we have 2 wide men playing. The CM is quite workman like, hopefully Felli not playing off straq or it'll be hoofball

my twin daughters were fed prior to being put to bed wearing their Everton bibs. I hope they are a good omen!

No sign of super sub Anichebe either. Quite a lengthening list of unavailabilty and my big worry is we have too few players available with composure on the ball. It's going to be 90 mins of kick and rush. Hope the bumper crowd don't get on the backs of the players too soon if it's not going our way.
We probably have a better unavailable midfield of Donovan..Rodwell..Osman..Pienaar from a footballing point of view. Hope Barkley gets more then 20mins to show us what he is made of again.
