Everton 2 Blackpool 0 (Drenthe, Stracqualursi)
Match 7 of my 100 thread run sees Dixie & Mr Ben starting to shake with not only the realism of the credibility of me taking the Match league, but also the strong possibility of it all being topped with a Wemberley Hibbo 35 yard stormer..
So.. onto the game.. 3pm kick off against lower league cloggers Blackpool.. the only place in England where you have to pay a tenner to get into security at their shitty little airport..
Jags still likely to be out, with late Feb listed as his return... Ossie, Rodders, Seamus & Jelly belly all listed as unknown... this will probably mean the same line up that stuffed the Chavs; with the finesse of the little music man pulling the strings for the brute force of Stacqattack to put the Chumpionship side to the sword 4-1 ... 2 for Stracq, one for
& one from a late arrival of Victor the super sub. o.g from J5 for the donkeys & Hibbo to miss nine penalties.. three off each post & three off the crossbar.
We're on our way to Wembleeeee, our knees have gone all trembleee ... lalalala..lalalala..
Who the fuck is Ian Holloway anyway

Holloway will be confirmed as Engurlaaaaaaad manager on Wednesday, Mourinho will take over at Blackpool on Thursday, and we'll lose 7-1. Nah..... we'll win 2-0 with goals in the 1st and 93rd minutes.

Holloway will realize that the Championship is his biggest goal this year, and will field a weakened side consisting of the tea lady, the bag man, several ground-staff and himself, resulting in an emphatic 1-0 win for the Blues.

5th round easy draw, on a good run too. Deja vu Reading last year.
0-2.
Blackpool park bus, we struggle to break them down, they counter attack score. Hibbert scores own goal. M4G goes limp and STJ steps in once again to service M4G wife. Bryan just watches on drooling.

Does that mean he is cup-tied for the whole competition or can he play in the Semi-Final

Which I guess shows that Spurs wanted to keep him as they wouldn't compromise a fee for 10 mins as a sub. He must have really pushed for the move

Setanta Ireland showing it live as well. Although, Bluejags might have to turn the volume down as Pat Dolan will probably be commentating.

Blackpool selling loads of tickets.
I just received my ST replacement tickets neat the Gladdy end.
Should be a good atmosphere.
Anyone remember the days when we'd all get there an hour before kick off, and sing our heads off?

Im up in Belfast so wont get to see it..

Usually Brian Hamilton does co-commentary on Everton's games.
Donovans last game last time out 5-1 v Hull, wasnt it?

No other person can have moves like the great Joe Dolan.

I think Roy will play, no need to rush Seamus back at this point, especially after how Rodwell's last comeback ended.

34,000 sold already. It is strange what a couple of good performances can do for a crowd. We got less than 30,000 for the Man City game.
