3rd game this season.

i know, lets sign another midfield.

Fuck off Moyes

Infairness, neither of or strikers had a decent ball to their feet all game. There was no threw balls and both of them had to go very deep or wide to get the ball. If we had a creative midfielder this may have been different. I'm not saying that Gibson is the answer but I can see where Moyes is coming from. Moyes also talked about having somebody that could shoot from distance like Arsehole-Ekotto and that is something that Gibson is very good at.

Having watched from the stands for the first time this season i thought we were woeful. At least when Jags plays we look solid at the back and can hang on for a 0-0 or nick a goal, Spurs pace and attacking prowess caused us many problems, not to mention Johnny H being unable to attack a ball.

To sum it up, briefly, there CB won everything we chucked at them, and that was our main form of attack, everything they chucked up at our CB we failed to deal with. In the form of attackers, Anichebe didn't compete or win anything, Billy used the ball well once and Saha continued to miss opportunities 3 good chances all off target.

I thought Duffy did ok when he came on and Drenthe always makes you think something may happen. Thats about it.

We'll be OK because there are so many crap teams around but it's not going to be enjoyable.

I only saw the second half last night and Spuds looked good; not great but good enough to beat us easily (that doesn't take much at the moment). I got rather jealous looking at their team. 2 pacy wingers, a playmaker, a big striker, two solid CBs, fullbacks who can defend and attack. The formation seemed so balanced last night and that has given them confidence to knkock the ball around really well. And have managed to do it without spending huge sums of money (a lot of money maybe but certainly not mega-bucks like City).

They haven't spent City-type money but they have spent fairly heavily.

If Spurs do go on to win the title do you think Man Citeh will regret loaning them Adebayor? Laughing
