Tottenham Hotspur 2 Everton 0
Tough trip to White Heart Lane.
We have managed to play well at times at Spurs and my memory goes back to a 2-0 victory there in maybe 2007? when Kilbane got sent off after about 40 minutes but we went on to hammer them.
I expect DM to play a tight game, however the Jewish quarter of London will cheer a 3-0 victory. Prove me wrong Everton

Re: Tottenham Hotspur 2 Everton 0
I just hope they have an off day.
We can possibly put out a reasonable side, even with the injuries, but Bale down our right is going to be the killer. Pip V Bale!
If he has the back 4 sorted, he could use Bily and Donovan wide, Felli and Ossie (maybe he'll be fit after all) in the middle, and Drenthe given a free role behind Louis? Bring on Straq for a 20 minute laugh, plus a couple of 16 year olds from Finch farm.
Sorted.
Surprize win for the Blues.

The question is, how many will Spurs win by? And will we manage to get through the game without any more injuries? (I'm already thinking about the more winnable game vs Villa).

Re: Tottenham Hotspur 2 Everton 0
Shock 1-0 win for the Blues. Pienaar found crying in the local church and blaming God for his transfer. God laughs and tells Pienaar it's his own fault for being a greedy little fuck. Moyes looks grim and admits it was a lucky goal: "It's not often a lad hides the ball in his hair and manages to evade the enitre opposition defence before sitting down in the back of the net, but that's what I saw in Fellaini when I offered fifty squillion knick knacks for the big lad." Harry twitches and says any Englishman would want to manage England, so it's no surprise he's about to fuck off when the going gets tough and the tough go to jail. The RS issue a statement saying it wasn't their fault and anyone who says it was is a silly nignog.
Re: Tottenham Hotspur 2 Everton 0
1-0 to the blues - Spuds will bottle it and we are their bogie team... er.. not in a hanging out of their noses kind of way, but in a we have been on the right side of some results against them kind of way... anyway, 1-0 to the blues, with Pienaar scoring for us and then Harry gets sent off for strangling Pienaar for forgetting he actually plays for spuds. Ok, maybe that's a bit far fetched, so aliens land and shoot everybody and kick the ball into the net for our first goal... and then a dinosaur with a fluffy pink head scores the second from the half way line.... hang on maybe that is even more far fetched.... ok Tim Howard to score from his own area... nah... that'll never happen - so one of our forwards to score... er... ok, maybe I'll stick with the fluffy headed dinosaur....
Re: Tottenham Hotspur 2 Everton 0
Van der Vaart is clean through on an open goal & his shot hits the bar. As the ball comes out of the area, Harry explodes & his wobbly bits loose wig propels the ball over Friedel into an unguarded net - Straca wheels away to celebrate. It's Everton's only shot on target until the final minute when Tony Hibbert (on as a substitute) manages somehow to slalom run through the entire Spurs defence with the use of his crutch keeping him upright to slot the 2nd goal. Tottenham faces another riot. Tottenham have 31 shots on target but fail to score.

If my memory serves me correct, James Mcfadden scored his first Everton goal at White Heart Lane
I am sure we lost 6-2 or something that day though

Re: Tottenham Hotspur 2 Everton 0
Gut feeling is we could take we could take our first real beating this season, possibly 3,4-0. That is if all the star align for Spurs but as we have seen before that doesnt always happen. Also, Harry seeing Everton as a bit of a bogey team for him at White Hart Lane might be more cautious. Still with our injuries and Heitinga's flakiness at the back I can see us getting anything out of it.

Harry saying nice things about Nev in the papers today, and Pienaar mentioning the special place in his heart. Cue DM and Harry doing a swap over a nice bottle of red and two rushed registrations before the match.
Spuds 1, Everton 3 (Baines, Pienaar, Hibbo)
