Re: Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Rodwell)
10 games played, 10 points. And we were very fortunate to beat Blackburn away as well as Fulham away. Wigan at home has been the only derserved three points this season. Utter shite.
Re: Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Rodwell)
Piss Poor.
Newcastle weren't exactly great were they? That's all you need to know. We lost to an ordinary side thanks to piss-poor defending.

Ah well, to be fair Newcastle are second which means we've played, and been beaten by, all the top sides and Liverpool in recent weeks. Piss easy run coming up, we'll be top 6 by Valentines Day.
Re: Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Rodwell)
what did newcastle offer though apart from their 2 goals, can't remember any save that howard really had to make, we were unlucky to not get something, two very 'lucky' (good skill for 2nd, but how often does that fly over) goals from themSheep Flavour wrote:Saha off the post....Saha pen.....we were robbed partly....but also we didnt offer much bar those two efforts.

Re: Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Rodwell)
terrible performance. we cannot pass to each other.
Seamus Coleman is fucking wank, did we sign him as part of a hustle deal.
Defending for Ryan Taylor's goal is embarrassing.
Onwards and upwards?

Re: Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Rodwell)
Fellaini's fault.
If we could turn possession into goals.... what was it 60%? at least Saha is starting to shoot on sight, eventually they'll start going in.
But I wouldn't play Saha against physical centre-backs. DM should use a blunt instrument like Vellios or Strack to beat them up for 60 minutes first.
Coleman poor though and Drench lots of enthusiasm but some poor choices.
Marriner pretty bad as well. Definitely played to the crowd.
I was right about Distin at least, kept Ba quiet.

The so called purchasers of Everton will be happy, that performance must know a bit off our value
Fucking Pip gets injured, at 2-0 down, and we throw a fucking defender on.

which in all fairness closed the door, they didn't attack again with any penetration as we had the height after that.
Obviously the ideal replacement would have been a DM or a holding M, but our only alternate was suspended.

Yeah, Distin was the right player to bring on and he was excellent as usual. Wish we'd started with him instead of that tit heitinga.
For all the stick he gets off the know-nothings we saw the value of Fellaini today. Midfield looked clueless without him. Rodwell looked lost and Osman overrun/overpowered. JH was shite and coleman struggled out on the left.
And to cap it of that greedy shithead gosling cheated us out of a point or more.
Ultimately we need to do better, though. Regardless of everything we should have got a point at least.
Re: Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Rodwell)
Also, when Moyes threw his arms in the air after McFadden crossed out of play, I shouted "That's your fucking fault that is." at the telly.
Seriously, wish we'd brought on Vellios. At least he can score a fucking goal.

1. We played badly, club value will decrease on that performance ie the stock (players) we have would require re-valuation on that performance
2. We were 2-0 down and out CDM got injured, we would have to attack to win. All we did was put on a defender and pushed a CB into CDM ie same formation. Understand if it was 0-0, 1-1 or 0-1 to us.

vellios would definitely have come on today but got injured during the warm up so barkley ended up on the bench instead of himTonteau wrote:Also, when Moyes threw his arms in the air after McFadden crossed out of play, I shouted "That's your fucking fault that is." at the telly.
