Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
Vellios with a shot, again it's from outside the box. de Gea makes an easy save.

I think we did better than OK considering who we were playing. I feel like we deserved a point and that says something when we are playing the #2 team in the league. The President wrote:We did OK

We are lacking inside of the box. Most of our shots were from outside the box and that makes it easier for de Gea to make the saves.
Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
Another tidy moral victory in the bank...looking up now!

BBC Radio 5 football pundit Pat Nevin at Goodison Park: "A highly satisfactory display by the United defence. There were few chances for Everton. It'll be a very, very happy United manager. He can go on from here. The three points were never in doubt."
Disagree
We should and could have got a draw

I was just about to post the same thing. How can he say that? They had one proper chance that I remember and they scored. Granted we didn't have loads and loads of chances, but we definitely deserved a draw. The President wrote:BBC Radio 5 football pundit Pat Nevin at Goodison Park: "A highly satisfactory display by the United defence. would Distin, Denthe and Cahill have made a difference?
I think Man U would have settled for a 1-0. When we went a goal down so early all they had to do was sit back and know they will get a chance on the break.
In other games Baines free kick would have gone in etc

Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
Obviously results haven't been great of late but some positives from the last few games. Win our game in hand and we are still top half with four of the Sky5 games out of the way. We should (hopefully) be able to climb the table over the next ten games. That said, another difficult game next weekend.

Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
I thought we handled them pretty well except for the goal.
Walking home, one guy was convinced that Rooney blocked Jags for their goal.
I'll have to see that again on MOTD.
Big Fella looked good, but sadly misses the Newcastle game.
Bily? Oh dear. Just has no spacial awareness.
When they scored the whole of GP went quiet for a good 5 minutes, as we expected the onslaught to start.
Good on the Blueboys for not folding.
Like some comments a few days ago, I'm tired of being the plucky underdog, the unlucky nearlymen, the team for injustice.
Just give me a bag full of wins in the lead up to Christmas, and I'll be able to stop taking hte pills.

Rooney pushes him. Whether or not JAgs would have gotten up I don't know but thats what put Heitinga on the wrong foot.

Distin - hard to say since Heitinga did OK.Mr_Ben wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I think we did better than OK considering who we were playing. I feel like we deserved a point and that says something when we are playing the #2 team in the league. The President wrote:We did OK

Drenthe - yes. Bily was so bad that Moyes took him off and started with Barkley in the second half. When did we see Moyes make a sub like that last?
Cahill - very ineffective this season. I doubt he would have made a difference.
Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
Sadly we're a better team without Cahill, unless he's scoring, which he isn't.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Distin - hard to say since Heitinga did OK.Mr_Ben wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I think we did better than OK considering who we were playing. Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
We were okay without ever really looking like we had any teeth in attack. This is possibly the worst Everton squad for a good few years but we won't get relegated. We might finish 7th in fact, as the gulf between the top 6 and the rest is absoutely huge now. The Barcodes will fall away back into the pack, and then it's just going to be a scramble for 7th to 20th. As it stands we're only one win off being best of the rest (if you discount Newcastle's bizarre appearance in the top four for the moment) and only one defeat off the relegation places. That's the nature of the PL now. Waste of fucking time really.
Goodison is looking fucking terrible by the way. I dunno if it was just that it was an early kick off, and I was feeling a bit tom and dick, plus parked round St Domingo end of Walton Road which is fucking depressing as fucking fuck, like a post-nuclear fucking film set, but £40 for a ticket, you're having a fucking laugh. I took the family to the ballet the other week at Sadlers Wells, absolutely brilliant - beautiful venue, incredible dancing, thirty piece orchestra, clean fucking bogs and nice bar, and that was £40 a head too.
Sorry, it's mad. I see these ordinary working class scousers bringing their kids along for a £100 day out and having to take them to toilets that should be condemned by health and safety, and feed them some of the most rancid food I've ever seen. And then they're spending even more in the club shop, getting ripped off for polyester shit with a badge on it. And we're not even any fucking good. Those poor kids. They should all go support the Shite, at least they'll get some fucking glory for their money and a bit of international kudos.

Actually, the more I think about it the angrier I get. Those fucking idiots on the pitch should be made to clean the fucking bogs in the Upper Bullens, never mind sulk if they don't get £35,000 a week. One week of Vic's wages would pay for decent toilets in the Upper Bullens, one week of Fellaini's - while he's serving out a one match ban for being a dozy cunt - would pay for decent toilets in the Lower Bullens. The greedy fuckers should take a good look around them before they start moaning about contracts.

And then there's fuckers like Ian Ayre over the park bleating that his bunch of cunts should get more of the TV money - meaning the poor relations like us get even less money, yet still have to try to put together a side that keeps the PL even vaguely competitive, so that the RS bunch of cunts can continue to get loads of TV money, and so the circle turns round and round, with the Sky clubs getting all the money while the likes of Everton hand over all their takings in wages and have a ground that should be condemned.
BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
I'm angry you know.
