Do you start him for the next game?

Think we have to.

I am never sure what he is going to do one second to the next but that makes for excitement. Seems like a bit of a loose cannon but the Goodison faithful have always loved a loose cannon or two. I love you
As long as he doesn't give up the ball easily in our own half.
How about Barkley for Ossie?

Personally I would like to see Gueye come in for Ossie with Barkley on the bench. Osman hasn't looked good at all this season IMO.

Called that one spot on - play Vellios for an hour - get on the front foot. Take the game to the opponents. Good result.

Looks like yellow card carnage at QPR. Chel$ea on 2 reds & 6 yellows so far. Odds on Chavs finishing with 8 men?

Best news is the amount of effort Chelsea have had to put in here - regardless of the result. We need this one to stay close.

3 players out for Wednesday. Let's hope we take advantage of the bonus.
Of the outfield players, only Malouda and Anelka were not booked or sent off.
Chavs still had twice as many shots as QPR.

a ridiculous record that, i guess you could call today a very important win , still thought we played below par, but i think the defensive mentality is the root of that problem.

To be honest Chelsea didn't play a full strength side in the league cup against Fulham. I imagine they would have rested most of the players who have been suspended. Still, it's nice to have them out of the equation whoever they put out.

I think that scoring early can often have a bad effect on a performance and make you defensice minded. Great attacking subs by Moyes to turn it around though bringing on Saha, Cahill and Coleman for Vellios, Osman and Neville really changed the game. Three very well taken goals will give us confidence infront of goals and it was nice to see us have a go from outside the box rather than try and pass it into the net.

Happy with the performance, the manager and the result.

Hibbert was absent without leave for their goal tho. Watched it at the local wine bar. As the move developed my comment was "oh f**king hell, Hibbert's gone missing again" - so they score & naturally I'm fuming. I heard some monkey say "that was a great goal" (well, yes the technique was good) - to which I said "really, but Hibbert gave him far too much room"

At the final whistle I'm leaving and said arsehole (whoever he is) said, sarcastically "Happy now?" - must be a Kopite with a friggin attitude like that. Tw*t. Who gives a flying f**k how good their goal was - only that they scored. I just walked on.

Shades of West Ham a few seasons ago where we nabbed a few at the death and won 3-1 as well. Incredible finish from Drenthe and equally incredible miss from Zamora. Pity Vellios missed that header. - he'll probably be benched now against Chelsea midweek for goalscorer Saha now who hopefully can go on a run of goals.

Result all important but a place we rarely get anything.

Didn't see the first half so cannot comment on how the game petered.

The miss from Zamora was incredible. Infact from memory I think there was a chance a few minutes before hand when we tried to play off side and Howard made a good save.

Saha should start against Chelsea and Man U. He usualy scores a few when on form.

Hibbert spent a good deal of time covering both CBs, and even cropped up in the Left CB spot a couple of times, with last ditch interventions. He saved us several times, in areas you would not expect a RB.
Maybe he needed his RM to cover as well, for their goal.
Don't be too hard on the lad, I hardly think we can accuse him of going missing.

We should start the same group against Chavski with the exception of Coleman instead of Ossie. With Cashley missing he can take advantage and pull their CBs out of shape. Space for Vellios. Then bring on Saha at 60 when their CBs are fading a bit.

About time for Baines to step up again though, he's been off form for the last few weeks.

I dont dont whether you could call it lucky but Howard had two moments of could fortune in game when Murphy shot came back off the post, hit his head but bounced upwards indeed of into back of net. Then with Ruiz's shot just after he scored which bounced off one leg and then the other, but could have easily went into back of net. Phew!
