We don't play Fulham at Goodison until the end of April. It doesn't get much earlier than that.

Well, what can I say. Just back from the match. Frankly Everton were awful - at least for the first 80 minutes and the the Vellios effect took hold. Drenthe came to life (he lasted well and played well in extra-time) as well as Gueye. West Brom certainly deserve credit for playing well for the first 80 minutes but they spurned good chances to hit the target.

By 80 mins I was almost praying they score again & let me go home quietly - I say almost because I always want Everton to win, of course - but it was a pretty awful performance hitherto. Cahill also caused plenty of trouble when he came on.

Nice finish for the equaliser & an even better build-up for the winner - good work by Baines, nice cross by Gueye, better work by Royston & a cool finish from Hibbert - oops I mean Neville Bring on Aldershot!

Dan, sorry I missed your call (I'm assuming it was you). I had a darts match on (I won, team lost), so wasn't going to the game. I also had lost all my old phone numbers so had no idea it was you until I listened to the message. And even then it took me a little bit of thinking.
