well, here we go for another fantastic goodison park night game. with the floodlights on, we will dazzle the opposition and play them off the park.
i would expect us to carry on the momentum from saturday and run out winners. a hard fought 3-1 home win
becks, saha, osman
come on you blues, europe can be ours

It just emphasises what a crazy season this has been that 3/4 through the season, one game in hand could see us jump 3 places!

Everton captain Phil Neville will miss the Barclays Premier League match against Birmingham tomorrow with a hamstring injury.
Neville suffered the setback in the victory against Newcastle at the weekend and could be replaced in the team by John Heitinga.
Victor Anichebe is doubtful with a knock while Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini are again ruled out through injury.
Provisional squad: Howard, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Rodwell, Osman, Arteta, Bilyaletdinov, Saha, Beckford, Gueye, Heitinga, Hibbert, Anichebe, Baxter, Duffy, Mucha.

I'd suspect Hibbert will start instead of Coleman though

I agree would prefer Coleman to get a run though.Yankthattoffee wrote:Valentino Blue wrote:Valentino Blue wrote:Super wrote:Everton captain Phil Neville will miss the Barclays Premier League match against Birmingham tomorrow with a hamstring injury.

also Would like to see Bilya and Arteta taking the wide roles with Ossie alongside Rodwell in some games whilst Felli's out but think Barry and Bowyer will be too physical for that pairing in this match so Heitinga rightly will play
Re: Everton 1 (Heitinga) Birmingham 1
COYB!!! Looking forward to this one and then pushing on for Europa places!!
Re: Everton 1 (Heitinga) Birmingham 1
Massive game this one. It would have bene nice to play them this past weekend since they had the CC final hangover then. Now they ought to be a hungry team looking to climb out of the bottom three.
Re: Everton 1 (Heitinga) Birmingham 1
I can see Brum playing hoof ball to Zidig. We should out play them down the flanks. WOuld be tempted to get Coleman in at RW to attack them down the right, Arteta down the left, Osman, JH and Rodwell in the middle with Saha up front.

I'd be gutted if we don't have 2 strikers on the pitch against a bottom team at home.Mr_Ben wrote:I can see Brum playing hoof ball to Zidig. We should out play them down the flanks. Re: Everton 1 (Heitinga) Birmingham 1
The fitness of Everton captain Phil Neville will be assessed ahead of the visit of Birmingham. The midfielder limped off in the win at Newcastle with a hamstring strain.
Birmingham's Martin Jiranek should return after recovering from a thigh injury but Craig Gardner and Barry Ferguson remain sidelined. Nikola Zigic will have a late fitness test on a groin injury but Liam Ridgewell, who has had a similar problem, is expected to be fit.
Everton
Doubtful: Neville (hamstring)
Injured: Cahill (foot), Fellaini (ankle)
Birmingham
Doubtful: Hleb (knee), Ridgewell & Zidic (both groin)
Injured: Dann (hamstring), Ferguson (rib), Gardner (dead leg), McFadden (knee), Valles (foot)
Such a shame.

Heitinga in for Neville. Moyes stays with two upfront and perhaps slightly surprisingly rests Coleman again but otherwise no complaints with the team.
