Let the good times roll.

Same team that started at Chelsea please.
I reckon we could actually win this by a good 3 or 4 goals. Strange one, but if Sunderland came and attacked, they could quite possibly win. If they come and defend, they could easily get a decent draw, but I can see them doing neither and being a shambles.

2-0, Beckford & Cahill

This is one of those games that could go either way because both teams are like Jeykll and Hyde. Both are capable of excellent performances and also awful performances so lets hope that Everton have a good performance and Sunderland are dog shit.

I would like the same line up as the Chelsea game, although it doesnt seem to matter who we play upfront because we dont have any decent strikers unless Saha is fit. I suppose at least Beckford has scored a few despite doing absolutely nothing else in any game so I would go for him again.

We will win 132,872-0 with Neville scoring 132,871 penalties (all from scrappy Tightarse Bramble tackles) and Hibbo will get one.

Who the fuck are Scumderland anyway??? cheers cheers cheers

I've got little confidence when we play the 'lesser' teams. 0-1, Richardson.

Another good performance would do.. A win puts us the right side of things a draw or a loss doesn't. Truthfully, I do not know what Everton team will turn up. It isn't the team I imagined in summer and you cannot guess where we go from here. My guess is mid table. Lose/draw this one and we are in the scrap.

I don't care how, just win blues..

Maybe a good idea to have him on the bench and then bring him on for the 2nd half if we need him.

Ive time for Beckford. He's needs the right type of player around him, and may yet turn into a decent EPL pro. Anichebe is just a fraud and really dont get Moyes love affair with him. Saha is World Class*

*For around 76mins a season.

going by the away tie this could be a very entertaining match.

In fairness we should have won it if our strikers had finished the chances they had and one of their goals shouldn't have stood.

2-0 beckford and saha

Lawro predicts......

Everton v Sunderland

Everton summed up their entire season in the space of six days last week. Their FA Cup win over Chelsea on penalties last weekend was a top result, but they were very poor in their defeat by Bolton the previous Sunday.

Knocking the Cup holders out in that shoot-out will have lifted everyone's mood at the club, though, especially Toffees manager David Moyes. That is important because he seemed pretty low after his side lost to Wanderers.

Sunderland got turned over by Tottenham in their last game and maybe Darren Bent's departure to Aston Villa is hitting home a little bit now.

The Black Cats have lost their last three games and won only one of their last five, and they have an awful record at Goodison Park too, which I cannot see them improving here.

Prediction: 2-1

Victory for Everton would be their 1,200th at home in the league, although defeat would see the Toffees become the first Premier League club to lose 100 games at home.

David Moyes is one short of collecting 500 points as a Premier League manager. He would be the fourth manager to reach the milestone after Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger and Harry Redknapp.

nice stat would be interesting to see how many games it's taken each to reach the same milestone.
