Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
He'll be fine.
Decent start by United this season, considering. Under SAF there would be no story.
Sells papers.
As long as he keeps Van Pussy and Rooney fit..............

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
Wonder if he'll be booed on Wednesday, by the Everton fans not the Man U fans?
I hope not, we shouldn't be booing ex players or managers when they have served the club well, especially as moyes has re-built the foundations of a great club
I mean we didn't like what happened over the double bid, but I'/m not sure how much of that was him or the board. Either way, he ended up giving us much more than he had to for Fellaini, so maybe that was his master plan? Crap bids before Fellaini's lower price guarantee was up, then they had to pay more?

I don't believe in Booing ex-players or Managers.I hope our fans concentrate on getting behind Martinez and the team.Sack the Juggler wrote:Wonder if he'll be booed on Wednesday, by the Everton fans not the Man U fans?

Not really interested on how Moyes is doing , His success or failure has no bearing on Everton fc.
Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
I wonder if he's under job pressure after tonight

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
"Their league position suggests they are ahead of us and they possibly do come here favourites."
"Liverpool are having a very good season and we have to do everything we possibly can to beat them.
Typical fucking Moyes, beaten before he even starts. It's like he's warning the fans they're going to lose on Sunday but, worse than that, he's sending a message to his own players that he expects fuck all.
They should get rid in the summer and bring in a manager with a winning, can-do mentality. He's out of his depth.

Probably something to do with expectation-management.
Fook it. Mankies to breeze through 3-0. Suarez feigns a dive in the corner trying to get Evra carded but only succeeds in impaling his rectum on the flag. Carrick effectively keeps Sturridge out of the game by showing him his fascinating collection of bottle tops. Valencia sees his Row ZZ bound shot deflected by Flanagan onto Rooney´s lardy arse and into the top corner to open the scoring.
I´m like fookin Nostradamus, me, when it comes to footie.
Remember, you read it here first.

Interesting read. Clearly the players did not like him.

I suspect AVB had the same problems at Chelsea.

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
Even to us amateurs, it seemed an impossible task from the start. On this board, how many said the sacking of SAF's entire backroom staff was a mistake; DM and Pip trying to tell Rio and Vidic how to defend; instilling a champions mentality when he has won nothing. The players' unrest seemed inevitable without a wholesale clearout, which he was never going to have the time to do.Armchair Evertonian wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Interesting read. DM's forte is and will be, his ability to take a struggling, underperforming, club with a good fan base and a bit of dosh, but not too much, and build them up with a 3 year plan, with the backing to go through some rough patches over that 3 year period, and not fear for his job. Fear is the key huh?

I think it would be a decent move for him to get his confidence back at a "big" club and it must be one that appeals to him from a background perspective.

Former Manchester United manager David Moyes is being investigated by police after a scuffle in a Lancashire wine bar, the BBC understands.
Officers were called to the Emporium bar in Clitheroe at about 22:00 BST on Wednesday following reports a 23-year-old man had been assaulted.
Lancashire Police said the man had not needed hospital treatment.
A spokesman said officers were looking into "differing accounts" of what happened and no-one had been arrested.
The scuffle happened outside the Emporium, a spokesman for the bar said.
Moyes was sacked as United's manager in May after 10 months in the role.
Before he took over at the club, he had been in charge at Everton for more than a decade.

The more I think of the way DM was treated at OT, the more I think he was a deliberate patsy.
The Lee Harvey Oswald of Old Trafford.
Set up, let down, and double crossed.
So, Celtic huh?
