We are officially in a relegation battle ladies and gentlemen.

3 teams beneath us with games in hand too. Stoke 2 Everton 0 - Page 12 Confused

Something has to be done here.

Moyes 'must' start to drop the players who aren't performing, and drop them so they know they've been dropped so the rest of the squad get the message.

Then, presuming Kenwright doesn't sack him, he needs to stop doing the same thing every week. What players do in practise doesn't always reflect on the pitch when the adrenaline kicks in. We have some young players. Give them a go I say.

On a bright note, Distin is probably the best defender in the Prem right now, and deserves a call up.

Agree 100% mate.

Im a big fan of Arteta but the fact is that he is shit at the moment and shouldnt be starting. Saha also shouldnt be in the starting line up and in my opinion should not be on the bench most weeks. I would rather us give Vaughan a go at the moment rather than Saha.

Distin has been fantastic all season and has saved us time and time again. I would like to see a race between him and Usain Bolt as well, Distin would easily win. cheers

Why isnt Moyes dropping Areta or Saha? Anyone can see that they are not cutting it. I was having a field day last year with my RS mates and Lucas but the same has happened to us. Do they have a thing in that contract like (I think) Danny Murphy did at Charlton where if fit he had to start every game?

I would rather play Rodwell or Gaye (Pace) in place of Areta.

And why at halftime didnt we bring on Beckford and try two strikers?

Who else could do the job Moyes does though on little money?

We either stick with what we got....wait till we get bought out then sack him so the arabs can bring in there own man or sack him and go for Owen Coyle, Big Sam, Tony Pulis or Kenny Daglish Very Happy

In hindsight it was a bad day at the office.

Distin was excellent and a clearly unfit Jags was okay albeit the OG

Offensively we offer nothing.

SPuds and the shite next, zero points i can see. Moyes has it all to play for.

I feel sorry for Bily, i mean the players are playing shit and he sits on the bench, idealy there is a russian team with £7m in cash under a russians mattress for him.

Be interesting to read what Moyes has to say, as for Kenwright, he is like the invisible chairperson

Good points.

Why not start the Yak (with a rocket up his backside) and Billy on Weds...what have we got to lose? Spuds have currently one of the best sides in the league and if we dont at least make an effort they will pick us apart.

We are more than likely going to get hammered V Spurs. But maybe the Derby is what we need? LFC not in great shape...EFC not in great shape...even a Saha scuffed goal could turn that corner? (The same corner we turned when Areta scored the second at Goodison in the first derby this season)

Didn't see or hear any of the match this afternoon, was hoping that if I did that we would win and I could enjoy the 1st MOTD of 2011.

See that Yakubu was not even on the bench this afternoon, is this a sign that he is off this month?

It was a fairly lacklustre performance with nothing really to get ecited about. Stoke played route 1 football and we were caught out twice. We had an early warning when they shot just wide, but didn't adapt to it.

BTW: 20 posters on line but noone posting. Are you all in a meeting? scratch

"I don't think the score justified the result. I thought we played well enough to get something out of the game," Moyes said."We played really well in the first half but found ourselves 1-0 down."We didn't do so well in the second half but I don't think the score was the correct score."

Sack Moyles, he's lost the fucking plot.

If he actually said that he needs to get his head checked out. We were poor. I suppose the only thing that one can read into that comment is that Stoke were there for the taking and they were. They didn;t do much to beat us but the thing is that they didn't have to.
