Tough game, but Sunderland are as unpredictable as us.

We seem a bit lost at the moment in my opinion. We're not going into games with the main focus of not getting beat, but we don't seem to be going out to win either.

Reckon Moyes will go a bit cautious with two defensive midfielders, rather than playing Arteta in a holding role as it's looked like recently. Bainaar down the left is a must though, as Baines was wasted down the left, with Pienaar playing in a floating role against Arsenal.

Howard
Neville Jagielka Distin Baines
Cahill Heitinga Arteta Rodwell Pienaar
Yakubu

Something along those lines I reckon. 1-1 draw.

It's all a matter of which side will show up (for both sides). We can either win it 3-0 (even though I'm not sure we are actually capable of scoring three times more than once a season) or lose 3-0.

Lawro predicts......

Sunderland v Everton (2000 GMT)

Sunderland's performance in winning 3-0 at Chelsea last Sunday was a breath of fresh air. The way they have gone about dealing with the 5-1 defeat at Newcastle tells you everything you need to know about the players and manager. They have got their heads down and got on with it.

Asamoah Gyan has been a superb signing for Sunderland. He tormented Branislav Ivanovic and Paulo Ferreira last weekend. He is capable of finding the net, he knows when, where and how to run and looks a fine player. It will be interesting when Darren Bent comes back from injury and whether they can forge a partnership, because if they can, they could be very dangerous.

Everton were a little unlucky against Arsenal last weekend. They had a fantastic chance through Tim Cahill in the first half, and of all the players in the Everton side you would want it to fall to him. It will be important for the Toffees to get something against a buoyant Sunderland team so I predict a draw.

Prediction: 1-1

Speaking of Cahill, we traveled to New Orleans yesterday and I wore my Cahill jersey on the plane. I got a couple of comments from fellow travelers (even though I am pretty sure they were thinking it was odd I didn't have a Manure/Chelski/Arse/Shite shirt on).

They will be all cocky cos of beating Chelsea - not realising that Hereford could beat Chelsea on current form.

We will humiliate them. 0-3 at half time, we'll take our foot off the gas in the second half. Final score 0-3.

Classic example tonight of Sunderland's over confidence after stunning win last week. I predict Steve Bruce will be shaking his head in the post match press conference wondering why the lads let themselves and the fans down with such a lackluster performance. And of course the ref didn't help but all credit to Everton for converting the chances that came there way. The boy Cahill did well.

Just a feeling like. Very Happy

Gyan is confirmed out but Bent is back.
