I'd give you 250/1 he won't even be Evertons top scorer !

Any odds on him actually scoring for us next year in the Premier League?

Vic
Victor Anichebe has taken up the challenge of playing in a 'wide' role and has done very well, linking up effectively with the Yak. He score a brilliant goal on Saturday, against a stubborn hard working Birmingham side. Both him and Yak have proved effective target men, holding up the ball well and being a real handful for defenders. With him and Bily we should have ample cover on the right with Landon now returning to LA (watch this space).
It looks like Moyes's faith in him has been justified, and its interesting that Vaughan has gone out on loan and not Vic. With Jermain Beckford allegedly arriving in the summer, either Vic or Vaughan would more than likely move on and it looks like Vaughan could be the one sold in the summer with Beckfords arrival.
Anybody have an update on Vic's injury, which resulted on his substitution against Brum?

I only saw the highlights of the Brum game but it looked like Vic played well. Hopefully he can keep working hard and become a useful player for us.

He did well until Ridgewell got the measure of him (was sat 10 rows back from him when he was playing wide right first half). Once Ridgewell roughed him up a bit (Vic is one of the biggest cry babies I've seen, though not as bad as Drogba's toy throwing effort yesterday ) he 'disappeared' and when things weren't going his way and he didn't get 'the decison' he just stood there moaning and forgot there was a game going on round him. Big bloke, small heart. Not a team player.

He's a whingeing non-team player of a get who throws all the toys, the pillow and the rug out of the pram when he doesn't get his own way.
Taking into account his all round contribution to the team this year, when he has been available of course, there is only one option. Sell him!

thats a bad Griff, bad Griff.
now you give the nice anichebe lad a chance.
seriously though, in the past he's shown some shite attitude but seemed to be getting the message before his big injury last season, since he's been playing after getting fit he seems focussed and effective. He's got alot of good attributes, he needs to get his head down and keep focussed but he'll be more effective for us than what we'd be able to bring in for his signing fee and his salary.
Re: 28: Victor Anichebe - Nigerian Scouser (permanently injured)
If he can keep his attitude in check he'll be a valuable addition to the squad. If he can't, it's time to get rid.Valentino Blue wrote:The Griffin wrote:Valentino Blue wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:He did well yesterday. The Griffin wrote:The Griffin wrote:They're fucked then!

I would be surprised to be honest after the amount of effort Moyes has put in coaching him as a right winger. Unless he gets the cash to go towards a certain American then. Just needs to find the other £9.75m then..

I think Vic knows that if he works hard and performs, he'll get quite a bit of playing time. There's no way he'd join Coventry. He's Our Tater Not Yours wrote:http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/city_speak_to_anichebe_542174/index.shtml

Everton player at Ricoh on Saturday
Coventry City are believed to have spoken to Everton's Victor Anichebe. The Nigerian internatiional who has made 76 appearances for Everton scoring seven goals, was, it is understood, at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday for the game against West Brom as a guest of City Chairman Ray Ranson. Anichebe, who was born in Lagos, can play as a centre forward or on the right side of midfield

I can't believe i am rising to the bait but my two pence worth...
Coventry can't afford much in a fee. Surely we could get 2m for Vic
Doesn't add up and also Coventry is a shit hole
