Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Ancelotti with the 1 mile stare in the stands. He's not impressed, I can tell you that.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Aubemeyang off for Lacazzet. Pretty sure I spelled both of those name wrong.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Keane with the pass of the game - under no pressure he belts the ball straight of out play and out of reach of Digne.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Sounds like Kean is coming on. Yes he is, Tosun is going off. I'd say Tosun was the invisible man today.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Yep.
Michael Keane sums up the afternoon with a pass that goes straight out of play. The camera cuts to a stoney-faced Carlo Ancelotti.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
This is I believe one of the worst games I have seen. Not just from us, but as a game as a whole.

Richie and an Arsenal player are down. I just assume that Richie is down because, well, that's what he does.

Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
No reaction from the crowd as the final whistle blows. Pathetic.

Everton 0-0 Arsenal
An early Christmas present for insomniacs.
Freddie Ljungberg and Duncan Ferguson bow out with a game I implore everyone never to talk of again.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Well, we did get a point. Better than no points. That was the positive thing that can be taken from the game.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
A strangely subdued performance but we'd have taken a point at kick-off.
Despite some good results and lots of passion, you can't really say that we've played well under Duncan. The 442 keeps things tight but means our fullbacks can't get forward much.

'Scrappy and leggy but we fought it out'
Everton 0-0 Arsenal
Everton
Everton interim manager Duncan Ferguson on BT Sport: "We wanted three points but what a fantastic performance from us. I couldn't have asked anymore from the players - they've been fantastic for me.
"It was a bit scrappy and we were a bit leggy after Wednesday but we fought it out and we got a point and a clean sheet."
On the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti: "It's fantastic for the club for someone of that pedigree to come in at Everton. I haven't spoken to him yet but hopefully I will tonight over a couple of glasses of red wine."
He is clearly referring to the effort, but my oh my, we were totally shite.
Re: Announcelotti v’s Artetas Arseholes
Dreadful, but happy to take another point. Big Dunc has done a more than decent job with a reduced squad - which was underperforming even before we got all the injuries.
I think we've learnt that the players bear a lot of responsibility for getting Silva the sack, but Silva himself couldn't get a tune of any sort out of them, whereas Big Dunc at least stopped us losing.
I have absolutely no idea why Ancelotti has taken this job though. I mean, he doesnt need the money, and he could have taken six months off and picked up a CL team to manage anywhere in Europe. Why come to us with our shite squad?
