In the end a decent clean sheet.
Needed to have scored in the opening 20 minutes.
Lacking guile as usual, and a decent finish.
Siggi was poor for most of the game.
Expectations too high? Bit of nerves?
Windy.

Yes, should have scored early on but - as in pre-season - never looked convincing. After that, Gomes was great, then got injured. Gbamin was a new kind of shit, Siggi was an old kind of shit, our defence looked decent, Coleman was back to his old self, and Richarlison was always a danger.

Not a good result, but not a bad one either. Let's hope Gomes isn't out long term.

Typical Everton, although many slating Gbamin,to be fair he played in the Alcon ,didn’t get much time off and made the move to Everton same week the season started , only had three days training, came on because of Gomes Injury, will take time to settle, Iwobie will be available for Watford and Delph could be back to cover Gomes, not the start we wanted but Watford next game, they had a very poor start going down 0-3 home to Brighton.

Silva fucked up big time bringing Gbamin on and not Davies. He must have known Gbamin wasn't match fit yet.

Couldn't watch the game but watched some highlights on Youtube that were about 2 minutes long. Looked like it just as well could have ended 2-2 or 2-3.

The lack of goal scoring is definitely an issue. We have scored 2 goals I believe in the last 6 games if including the pre-season. affraid

Just found out Iwobie won't be fit for the Watford game, He's not long returned after playing for Nigeria in the Afcon,
Silva says Iwobie hardly had any training time and about 3/4 weeks behind everyone else. affraid

We looked raw and ragged at times, good at others, it was almost like a preseason game. I'm going for the positives, 1) unbeaten so far this season 2) clean sheet 3) glad we didn't get Zouma! affraid

Zouma looked like he didn't want to be at Chelsea... they made a mistake making him stay... also Zaha didn't look happy at Palace, they also made a mistake making him stay

get them both in January is my view
