Our visitors this weekend are on a roll, they have just beaten a good Watford side, who had convincingly won their previous two league games (one of them being against us), 5-0.  They are deservedly at the top of the league having only lost one league game all season, and in any normal season they would be odds on to win the league, but City are right on their tails, so they are fighting for every point.

Everton on the other hand have proven inconsistent at best, rubbish at worse, and have only looked convincing against the teams in the bottom third.... er... if you exclude teams like Southampton, Brighton, etc.

So the writing is one the wall for this one............. a 1-0 win to Everton, a Phil Jagielka thunderbolt into the top corner from outside the box in the last minute of the game cheers

Shouldn't this have been a midday kick-off, given the behaviour of both sets of supporters recently?

I'd have bitten your hand off for that result at the start of the game, but actually I'm slightly upset we didn't win.

Both games should have been 0-0. Both games were hardly exciting football.

Walcott needs to go in the summer. He’s done his job however we need a younger version. DCL did his job however is not a 20 goal a season lone striker. Keane did well at the back.

Please keep this on for next Saturday as I am off to that game!

A good game for Pickford to redeem himself.
Keane tackle, great for the lad's confidence.
Swarming tackling on the box was refreshing to see.

Post  hairy cataract on Mon 04 Mar 2019, 5:11 pm

Best atmosphere at Goodison for a long while, I thought. Absolutely bouncing. The club did well, really ramping it up before the teams came out, but the whole place was up for it anyway. If Bernard had got anything onto that cross and scored, the ground would have completely erupted.

I known it's a bit small minded, but even I was singing "FUCK ALL! YOU'RE GOING TO WIN FUCK ALL!" at the RS at the end.

Wish it was like that at every game though.
