Don't understand the tactics with sticking Richie up front by himself. He's not a striker and against 3 CBs, he has NO chance of making anything happen.

Rather, stick him out on the flank and play Tosun or DCL up front. And yes, I know, they are not world beaters, but neither is Richie when alone up front.

Siggi, what's going on with him? Same thing regarding Gomes. Can't make a pass to save their lives most of the time. Strange that one.

Thanks to Pickford it was only 2-1, could/should have been more.

Agreed. Give Tosun or DCL a run of games and play Richie in his natural position.

Such a bad performance from the Everton boys at St Mary's on Saturday. Passes were finding a red shirt instead of a blue one on numerous occasions and then when we broke from a Southampton corner players were either shooting when a pass would have been better or vise versa.

Pickford kept us in the game in the first half with a couple of decent saves and we were lucky when shots from Redmond and Ings hit the post.

Plus had to witness all this whilst sat in the Southampton end Evil or Very Mad

Really need a proper striker up front as Richie should be playing out wide, giving him the option to cut inside. Both DCL and Tosun hardly had a chance when they came on (DCL did put a header over the bar), but one of them needs to be starting up front and then allow Richie to play out wide.

It ain't gonna happen Super(Jamie) We got too much deadwood to remove from the Martinez-Koeman-Allardyce era? Besic-Bollassie-Ramirez-Vlasic-Williams hopefully gone-Martina Hopefully gone-Niassie-Holdgate who I would Keep-Luke Garbutt-Kieran Dowell-James McCarthy-to much baggage, some still got a couple years contract left, so you can see why? its complicated and these players earning high wages have blocked Everton buying/bringing in new players, Brands left to sort out the housework balance the books,
