Everton 2 v Crystal Palace 0 (Calvert-Lewin, Tosun)

Post  Super on Thu 18 Oct 2018, 2:25 pm

So the international break has come to and end and the Premier League can get back on track.  This weekend we host Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon live in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Our home premier league record against Crystal Palace doesn't really make happy reading.... we've played 9 games with 3 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats, scoring 17 goals and conceding 14.

But saying all that, our Premier League record for games played on Oct 21st sees us having played 3 games with 2 wins, 1 draw and 0 defeats, scoring 4 goals and conceding 1.  So hopefully we will be able to keep that unbeaten run going.

My team would be unchanged from the Leicester game, so:

Pickford
Kenny, Keane, Zouma, Digne,
Siguršsson, Gueye, Davies,
Walcott, Richarlison, Bernard

which would hopefully be able to see out a comfortable 2-0 win, with goals from Richarlison & Siguršsson

We have tried the long ball a handful of times with no success, maybe just to keep their defence honest.

I would say that we are the better playing side, need to make it show with some goals here. Not a lot of clear chances though so far.
