Everton v Liverpool (if anyone cares)

Post  RhinoJagz on Thu 05 Apr 2018, 10:27 am

Suppose someone better starts this. Not sure there has been such a low key approach to ta derby game fuelled mainly by fan apathy and a terrible directionless team.

Liverpool will probably rest a few players ahead of their glorious coronation as European Champions elect but still probably have enough for us especially if we start with same team as last week.

If players have any modicum of pride or respect for the fans, this will put in a shift and if they can do the ridiculous and actually win, then they can pack their bags for the summer and play the under 23's for rest of season.

Prediction: Sam puts 10 behind the ball and we 'win' 0-0 and he's the greatest manager ever in the history ever.

Everton v Liverpool at Goodison Park 12.30pm Live on Sky Sports Saturday 7th April 2018

Liverpool Striker Mo Salah went off With an Injury against Man City In European Quarter Finals,Salah to have a late fitness test,
Everton dm Adrissa Guye hopefully fit for this game, can't have players like Morgan Schniderlin playing by just going through the motions.

Sticking my neck-out for a 1-0 Everton win,my man Cenk Tosun cheers

The problem we face is that the majority of them have now gone on holiday and don't respect Fat Sam.

Expect 11 men behind the ball, shitting themselves, hoping for a 0-0.

What I would like to see if a gung ho affair with the team getting stuck in, the Shite will be terrified of this due to the 2nd Leg against Citteh, and simply just going for it.

Fuck the Shite, Fuck Allardyce and just fucking go for it for once....

4-0 the Shite.... Rolling Eyes

The message to the team should be kick the fuck out of anything in red, even if it's just Santa Claus on his holidays.  Get stuck in, play for pride, go at them hammer and tongs.  If we don't have at least five players booked, we should be ashamed.

1-0 to the Mighty Blues, a late deflected winner by Tosun.

Were okay so far. Defence as usual looks tentative, but their left back is shite. Pitch soaking which is helping neither side. Pickford made a couple of routine saves, Karius made a very good one.

Missed opportunity to take all three points late on ,both Tosun and Calvert Lewis the culprits, never mind, Just as well,Allardyce would have taken all the glory, just wait for the aftermath’Allardyce ‘Interview with big Sam.

Not as bad as some ‘negative people’ predicted before the game, still in ninth place ,4 points Clear Bournemouth. cheers

Did Bolasie look as bad on TV as he was for us go-the-gamers?
Possibly the worst performance by any one individual for decades.
Seemed to have no clue as to what his role was.
I'm guessing that SA told him not let let Clyne get past him, but as a result just stood around raising his shoulders to Baines etc like "what am I supposed to do?"
Keane showed his best and Jags had some fire in his belly today.
Just not a unit which knows what to do in possession.
What a difference DCL made when he came on, and as I'm singing his praises, aaaggghhhhh!
Coulda woulda shoulda.

apart from his setup for the shot, and the shot itself, yes. It looked like he was marking Clyne as he was frequently nearer to our goal than Baines.

Couldn't understand why Walcott didn't go after Klavan from the start, he was the weak point in the RS defence.

Rooney can moan all he likes, contributed nothing -gave the ball away far too much, as did Bolasie,Walcott should have attacked down the wing more, we looked a better attacking option when Guye and Calvert Lewin came on, credit too Morgan Schniderlin who had Is best game in a blue shirt.

Tom Davies needs to control his game better he’s another who gives the ball away far to easily, what? Everton are lacking? is a midfield general to hold the game up and control the play.
We are seriously lacking leadership and a captain to organise players .
