Stoke 0-0 Everton
He's got to score! Everton win a free-kick on the right, Wayne Rooney curls a delicious delivery to the previous-mentioned Tom Davies at the back stick.
Unmarked and in acres of space, the Toffees midfielder loops his header over the bar. Should have been nestling in the onion bag, no question. Big let off for Stoke.

looked a clear red. Not sure this game will last the 90 minutes though - treacherous conditions
Re: Stoke City v Everton.
It's hard to see the ball because of the snow as well as the poor quality of my feed.Blue gazza wrote:i can see this being abandoned if it keeps snowing like it is

He's back on his feet, looks to be fine. He'd getting booed now though every time he touches the ball.Yankthattoffee wrote:How's Rooney?Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Charlie Adam sent off! Straight red for a tackle on Rooney!

Re: Stoke City v Everton.
So, Rooney gets tackled, the ref shows the Stoke player a red, and Rooney gets booed. Makes perfect sense....

Re: Stoke City v Everton.
Stoke are giving us quite a bit of time on the ball in the middle of the park. Can we take advantage?
Re: Stoke City v Everton.
HT, 0-0, not many clear chances either way apart from Davies' free header 7 yards out which he really should have scored on.
Re: Stoke City v Everton.
Feed back and the game is back on again as well.
If I were gambling man, I'd put a tenner on 0-1.

Rooney with a shot from 30 yards out, it bounces right in front of Butland, he can gather it though.
Re: Stoke City v Everton.
Davis is down again, got hit by Butland, maybe a slight concussion, not sure.

53rd min, the substitution finally takes place.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Yeah, looks like DCL is going to come on for Davies here.
Re: Stoke City v Everton.
Bolasie with a great chance after Rooney releases Walcott down the right middle. Bolasie doesn't connect well though, and Butland can make an easy save. Need more of those chances here.
