Williams and Keane both totally clueless as Wood plants a header in from 1 yard out from the corner.

How come Holgate is not playing? What does Williams bring? Keane is so low on confidence it's scary.

What a total fook up this game has been. The central defenders have been shite, the subs have been shite, the midfield has been shite. Siggi, the best player by a MILE is subbed. Laughable.

Dreadful, dreadful stuff.

The buck stops with Sam, there seems to be no system or a shit system at best.  But at least half a dozen of the players should not be playing at this level at this stage of their careers: DCL, Davies, Martina, Keane, Williams, Gana, not one of them good enough individually for a top half PL side, but collectively it's a disaster.  To have that many below average players is crippling us.

Might as well start tapping up looking for a new manager now so they've got the whole pre-season to start re-building.

Frustrating to watch. Siggi the best player by a mile gets subbed with the odd 15 mins left. No clear strategy in the play. It's almost like Sam just says "Alright lads, go out there and give it a go. And try and win, eh?"

After all the promise over the summer, the situation we are in now feels so immensely frustrating. Sigh.

I just listened to Sean Dyche and apparently that is the first Prem game that Burnley have won from a losing position at half time

Yes, they talked about it during the game. 53 games when they were losing at halftime, 11 draws and 42 losses.

Until today....

Re: Burnley v Everton

Post  Yankthattoffee on Sat 03 Mar 2018, 7:50 pm

We had our 2 most threatening players on the right side (23 and 11)
Second half we barely pushed it over there.
Burnley attacked down our weak left side throughout the second half, and every time we won the ball, we played it down that side too.
Meanwhile Shay and Theo twiddled something.
A decent first half, but once Woods came on we knew what was going to happen, so the 2 goals made it all the more annoying.
That Kevin Davies clone Ashley Barnes barely played the ball all afternoon. Just threw himself at the man every time the ball was in the air. Ref did nothing. Our dickhead Ashley probably took retribution.
As for all the booing, I've never worked with anyone who improved at anything, by telling them they're shyt.
The boo boys need to quell their frustration, or we're down.
