It also looked like Gueye was the only one who ran over to celebrate the goal. Or maybe I am reading too much in to it.

The BBC probably put it better than me.

WHAT A MISS
Everton 2-0 Crystal Palace

It is not happening for Christian Benteke.

The big striker gets the better of Jonjoe Kenny at the back post, but plants his low header wide from Yohan Cabaye's cross.

Crystal Palace should really have pulled a goal back there.

Walcott at times looks like he's not on the same technical level as his team mates - he's miles ahead of the rest.

Pickford must have greased his gloves with vaseline before the game, just can't hold on to crosses.

Sorloth with a good header, Pickford parries it out for a corner, well done.

The difference between the teams has really been down to us taking our chances. We have been slightly on top, but not 3-0 on top IMHO.

Both booes and cheers as the substitution takes place. Mainly booes to be honest when Schneiderlin came on.

Palace penalty, Kenny with a handball. Actually, it was Williams not Kenny.

And they score, 3-1.

Came from chaos in the box, well taken with the side of his left foot some 3-4 yards out.

Pretty much what I was referring to earlier, it's not been a blow-out by any means.

'Palace could've had three'
Everton 3-1 Crystal Palace

Pat Nevin

Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

It will be slightly nervy now. Palace have had their chances in this match.

They could’ve had three goal, and they’ve all been from simple crosses.
