Phew! Big three points in terms of keeping tabs with 7th place. And a bit of breathing space wiht those coming from below.

Is that our first win against a team above us in the table?

Poor start, crowd on the players' backs after about five minutes but once we scored we were in control for the whole game, aside from 5-10 mins after the peno. Away at Arse next so good to get three points on the board.

Walcott and Coleman might be the new Baines/Pienaar.

we are so much more attacking with that lineup. Coleman and Walcott look like a force.

Cuco saved our bacon and thus becomes the new cult hero. clown

OK... Report from the padded seats...

Pickford never really bothered apart from woodwork incidents (look at the repeats and you see some very effective attack blocks deployed by Leicester leaving one of our guys defending on his knees!)

Defensive .... Martina had an OK game .... his GL clearance covered some howlers but he generally covered well. Jags and Keane looked solid enough - Vardy never really had a chance on goal (pen apart). Coleman was immense - really immense! The thing we suddenly saw was that the opposition were as surprised as we were that he started and they gave him ounces pounds of respect. What he delivered was the credible threat to take payers away by his movement that freed space for the others to play.

Midfield - Gueye - effective as ever - contrast with Tom who looks as regressive as he has all season... Rooney and Siggy are beginning to understand how they can work together.....

Attack - Niasse is a true workhorse... should have scored at least twice tonight (which is a real pity that he did not) - Walcott was very good... listening to some of the communication first half between Seamus and Theo... we look to have a right sided Baines/Pienaar in the making...

Going forward..... we do have options combinations enough to see us continue progress..... scrape though 17/18 and then regroup and push on...
