FT. Good 2nd half, without creating a huge number of chances.

Re: Everton FC v Swansea
We have picked up 13 of the last 15 possible points, only Man City are better.
Re: Everton FC v Swansea
Quite a turn around results wise in the last month. Big one up next against Chelsea.

which should see my run come to an end.
it's been fun...
changed our cable company at the weekend and bought the PL package, and that's the first match I've been able to sneak home to see. We were piss poor in the first half, they were playing it on the deck and we were hoofing it. Half time big change in effort, but we didn't get into them until Davies came on for Morgan. Not that Morgan had a bad game but he and Gana get in each others way IMO, and that's why there are so many sideways passes and then the big hoof when they see some space. That said there's a hoof from Holgate or maybe Kenny, that DCL controls on his chest Fellaini-like, a superb bit of skill. He is going to be a hell of a player, hopefully for us.

Its one of those where his momentum takes him well into the box and in real time its looks like a peno but you have to slow it down it down frame by frame to get the exact point of contact. Luckily for us the ref assumed it was in the box but in the context of the game I dont think it would have changed the result. Once the second went in, the game was over.

The Toffees have won seven penalties this season in the top-flight, more than any other side (scoring five).

we scored on the rebound from both the missed penos though ... I thinkKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:The Toffees have won seven penalties this season in the top-flight, more than any other side (scoring five).

Re: Everton FC v Swansea
Another one for the Stats?
4 penaltys at the park end 4 misses , Cleverley-lacasette-Rooney 2 buy Rooney gets the rebound as did Calvert Lewis. Up the toffees.

Re: Everton FC v Swansea
Both penalties were soft, no doubt. I just hope that we don't get a similar situation to when AJ was with us where he had a reputation of going down easily and then all of a sudden he wouldn't get a single call even if he was kicked to pieces in the box.

I was actually thinking of you yesterday after the game was over, thinking back to the euphoria after the home wins and how that felt among the crowd, nothing but happy faces all around (apart from the away fans I suppose).
