Little bit of confidence with each game. Might not agree with team selection but at least its looking a bit more settled to allow so understanding to develop. Not several changes ever game.

If we hang on here, it'll be a well fought win, and (whisper it quietly) exactly why Fat Sam has come in.

Ohhhh I love a good 1-0 win away from home! Only 1 goal conceded in 4 league games. Quite the turn around. Onwards and upwards cheers

To be fair, we're getting exactly what it says on the tin with Big Sam. And you can see the confidence seeping back into the team. Kenny in particular is really starting to benefit - he's looking better with each game.

Guardian report:

"With Evertonís impressive left-back Cuco Martina largely nullifying Christian Atsuís pacy right-sided threat and the substitute Nikola Vlasic proving highly effective at knitting visiting counterattacks together,
"

I still think Cuco is slow and one footed, but Sam seems to have him crowding his oppo, to good effect. Then again Baines' pace has gone s maybe he's not that much of a drop in standard. When Coleman is back I'd be tempted to switch Kenny to LB if we can't recall whatsiname.
