Apollon Limassol v Everton
So the final match of our 2017 European misadventure rolls around. Sam in a tax-haven tax-efficient jurisdiction, who'd thought .
I imagine Sam will continue experimenting, and that Vlasic, Besic, Mathematic, Toxic and Paralytic will all get a chance to show their stuffic.
He has to rest a few for the derby, after all. but as we continue to be short of defenders I see Keane and Holgate getting a run.
Here is the registered suad, who hasn't been seen yet?
Jordan Pickford
Maarten Stekelenburg
Joel Robles
Leighton Baines
Michael Keane
Ashley Williams
Phil Jagielka
Cuco Martina
Seamus Coleman
Mason Holgate
Callum Connolly
Jonjoe Kenny
Morgan Schneiderlin
Ross Barkley
Kevin Mirallas
Aaron Lennon
James McCarthy
Idrissa Gana Gueye
Gylfi Sigurdsson
Davy Klaassen
Muhamed Besic
Tom Davies
Nikola Vlasic
Ademola Lookman
Sandro Ramirez
Wayne Rooney
Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I'd gladly see that happen, in fact I would have had quite a number of the 1st team players not fly out there at all.

I think there's a rule that amounts to youth players being drafted in even when they are not in the original squad of 25. Or something along those lines. Or I could be entirely wrong. I don't imagine Beningime was in the original 25 for example, but he's played in Europa under Unsworth.

If our European campaign has been "fixed" we seriously need to get a new "fixer"

Re: Apollon Limassol v Everton
Great that not one of the potential team for Sunday is going out there, and nor is our manager nor his fat little sidekick. Means we get a full week's training in at Finch Farm, which I hope will be mostly about parking the bus, intimidating the RS, and time-wasting. Oh, and cheating.
I would absolutely love a nil nil at Analfield. As for tomorrow's game, I give no fucks whatsoever.

Klaasen will probably still look shit, even in a team of 14 year olds.

There are first-team debuts for Scotland Under-19 striker Fraser Hornby and Republic of Ireland Under-21 left-back Harry Charsley. Morgan Feeney makes his first start.
Joel Robles, Kevin Mirallas, Davy Klaassen and Morgan Schneiderlin are among the fringe players to come in.
None of Everton's seven substitutes have ever played a first-team game - for anyone.

GREAT SAVE!
Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton
Yes, that is a fine save! Henry Charsley unleashes a great curling effort from 22 yards, it's looping up into the top corner until Tasos Kissas goes full length to save.
Like Phil Foden last night, Charsley is more of a midfielder by trade but he's doing a job at left-back.

GREAT SAVE!
Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton
Good save, but Everton should be ahead! Ademola Lookman is played in on the left, he's clean through on goal and checks inside nicely past the last man. He's one-on-one but shows a lack of confidence perhaps, hesitating too long and Tasos Kissas is able to smother his eventual shot.
