the 'personal physician' who introduced the subject of gastric reflux causing elevated 'mouth alcohol' readings is coincidentally my doc too. Not sure if that's a future ace up my sleeve, or not...

Re: Wayne Rooney
It looks like he will be overly punished if he gets custodial at three times limit.... however I expect the streets of Wilmslow will be absolutely spick and span and free from litter for several weeks/months

Re: Wayne Rooney
As long as it non of this has a negative affect on his performances on the pitch, I have little interest.

I thought that when I saw the replay at the ground (poss his shirt), cause the swerve occurs after he passes the ref.Sack the Juggler wrote:I reckon that took a deflection off the refereeMade 4 Gwladys wrote:I'll just leave this here
Has the ref ever been asked?

Rooney is now third in the Premier League's all-time assist providers, the pass which found Sigurdsson for the second sumptuous goal putting him ahead of Frank Lampard and behind only Cesc Fabregas and Ryan Giggs.

Nice video on Facebook by EFC of Wayne presenting 3 cheques on behalf of The Wayne Rooney Foundation; £250,000 to Alder Hey Children's Hospital, £250,000 to Claire House Children's Hospice and £250,000 to the NSPCC. Fantastic Wayne well done !! but guess what ? No coverage at all on the BBC 10 o'clock news or the BBC North West Tonight local news - he only gets headlines when he does wrong (which I don't condone) I just wanted to spread some good news especially at this time of year - nice one Wayne

Everton striker Wayne Rooney, 32, is in serious talks with Major League Soccer side D.C United over a summer transfer. (Washington Post)
But it would require a "massive offer" from China or the United States for the former England captain to leave Everton this summer, says manager Sam Allardyce. (Liverpool Echo)

Would anyone here be bothered if he left? He's done pretty well but he's hardly irreplaceable.

True, but I'd like to see him with us for another season. Maybe I am sentimental, but I'd like one more year.Armchair wrote:Blue gazza wrote:Everton striker Wayne Rooney, 32, is in serious talks with Major League Soccer side D.C United over a summer transfer. (Washington Post)

I suppose if we are keeping Klaassen (which we probably will as as no one will pay anywhere near what we did for him) then Wayne is surplus to requirements. If we can ship Klaassen off (loan or permenantly) then Wayne makes a useful understudy to Siggy.

Re: Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney has told Everton he wants to join MLS side DC United, with a £12.5m deal now close to being agreed for the former England captain. (Mail)
The 32-year-old's £300,000-a-week salary at DC United will be paid by three clubs. (Sun)
US reports say DC United are cautiously optimistic they can convince England's all-time leading goalscorer to join them. (Washington Post)
But some English press have Premier League newcomers Wolves are among the favourites to sign the Everton forward this summer. (Birmingham Mail)
And Rooney will not make a decision over whether to stay at Goodison Park until manager Sam Allardyce's future is resolved. (Star)
Looks like he may well be fucking off.
