I don't understand this one either. We must have other strikers lined up then.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:Surely we need him back FFS ?Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Galatasaray are in talks to sign Everton's Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru, 21, on loan.
... Nessy isn't the answer... Tosun maybe... DCL hopefully... Rooney gone
unless we are planning to swoop for Aguero or Ronaldo...

We've missed out on Ronaldo. Time for a cheeky bid for Mbappe?

I'd like to give him a chance to show what he can do. Especially if he's looking at going to BM.
Re: Henry Onyekuru - Loan ya Kurry
yes agree .. Lookman will leave & he is young.. would be stupid not to give him a go... if he can get a work permitKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:I'd like to give him a chance to show what he can do. Especially if he's looking at going to BM.

Another young forward could be leaving the Toffees, with Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru, 21, telling the club he wants to make his loan move to Galatasaray permanent in order to play Champions League football next season. (Fanatik - in Turkish)

I thought I read somewhere that he's about to sign for Bayern Munchen? Either way, I'd like to see what he can do for us before we let him go somewhere else.Armchair wrote:Another young forward could be leaving the Toffees, with Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru, 21, telling the club he wants to make his loan move to Galatasaray permanent in order to play Champions League football next season. Re: Henry Onyekuru - Loan ya Kurry
Napoli have made a £14 million bid for Everton forward Henry Onyekuru, according to Le Soir, with the Nigerian youngster seemingly on his way to Italy.
Onyekuru is yet to make a single first-team appearance for the Toffees and, with interest from one of Italy’s giants, the Goodison Park faithful might never get the chance to watch the 22-year-old in the flesh.
A £7 million signing from KAS Eupen in 2017, Everton pulled off an almighty coup when they snapped up a player who had caught the eye of countless clubs all over Europe. But thanks to work permit issues, the Merseyside giants have been forced to send Onyekuru out on loan to Anderlecht and Galatasaray in the last two seasons.

It would be fooking typical if he takes off in Italy and we are made to look like proper fools with him not once featuring for us.

He's not allowed to play for us as I understand it.
If he's never going to get a work permit, then we've doubled our money.
Re: Henry Onyekuru - Loan ya Kurry
Still not eligible for a work permit....

Re: Henry Onyekuru - Loan ya Kurry
Everton have sold forward Henry Onyekuru to Ligue 1 side Monaco for an undisclosed fee.
The Nigeria international, 22, never made an appearance for the Toffees after joining on a five-year deal from Belgian club KAS Eupen for £7m in 2017.
He spent the 2017-18 season back in Belgium on loan at Anderlecht, before another loan deal at Turkish side Galatasaray last year.
Onyekuru scored 14 goals in 31 league games as Galatasaray won the title.
