Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
Great touch by Barks in the box, but he gets crowded out and Spurs can clear.
Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
And, naturally, as soon as I say that, Davies and Barry are subbed for Mirallas and McCarthy.
Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
This appears to go towards another tough afternoon against Spurs. They and the Shite appear to be our boggy teams, just can't beat them often.
Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
Not sure if we have had a shot on goal yet, have we? Has Lloris made a save?

No, I don't think so.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Not sure if we have had a shot on goal yet, have we? Has Lloris made a save?

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
Barkley releases Coleman down the side with a wonderfully weighted pass but Coleman's cross is straight out of play. Pretty much sums up the afternoon so far.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
This game is close to the Shite - Spurs game with the exception that Spurs are the Shite and we are Spurs...
Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
Again it appears as if we are playing with 2 men down. Spurs in total control.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
Funes Mori with a massive cock-up and Kane is in on goal but Robles stops Kane with a good save.

Too late, Valencia came on instead.Armchair wrote:Now get Lookman on!

I really hate these comments:
Only true if football was invented in 1992....
Out of nothing, Romelu Lukaku gives Everton hope.
The Belgian striker has not had much to work with in this game but pounces on the first real chance as Jan Vertonghen slips, giving Lukaku sight of goal and he guides the ball into the far corner.
That's his 61st for the club, making him Everton's record scorer.

Kane with a left footed effort after McCarthy backs off giving Kane 3 yards of space. Kane's effort is high though.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
But it does begs the question, is Valencia considered a better player/option than Lookman? I don't think that's the case.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Too late, Valencia came on instead.Armchair wrote:Now get Lookman on!
