Sunderland who are rooted to the bottom of the Premiership, will be looking for points and they won't care how they get them,

Re: Everton v Sunderland
I believe that young Sunderland fan with cancer for whom Moshiri paid a good chunk of his treatment will be a special guest at the game (or at least that is what was said when we played the away game after the donation was made). Regrettably his illness has taken a turn for the worse and I read the other week that it is now terminal.

Yes Mate that's true, considering the little feller hasn't had much of a life.
Lets hope he gets better.

He won't mate. His condition is terminal.
I just Googled him, and it appears that he has already been a mascot for us for the game against Man City - I hadn't realised that so perhaps he won't be at the Sunderland game after all.

Bless him, he's had quite a season!

Re: Everton v Sunderland
Everton have been on a roll against weaker opposition, with the exception of draw specialists Boro the other weekend, and we need to take advantage of Sunderland's recent generosity.
So we will win this, and I'm going for 4-0 because Sunderland just cannot defend, even with Moyes as their manager. Â They are on a run of two games where they were beat by that scoreline both home and away, and we have won our last three prem home games bigly.
If he plays, Lukaku to get a brace, and Mirallas to get one, with Ross to rub Moyes's nose in it too.
Gueye to win man of the match and the attendance to be 39,480
Golden goal will be on 42 minutes and 32 seconds, and it will be won by a bloke in the lower Bullens eating a meat and potato pie.
If he attends Tommy Smith will have his eye taken out by an Everton mint thrown by the toffee girl.

Re: Everton v Sunderland

You are correct Sir.
I think his prognosis was always bad.... Everton I think were magnificent in how they supported him particularly with the initial donation. Its true we did hold an invitation for him to come down later in the season, and the fact that it was at City might be related to a decision around how able he was to travel and participate.
I must say that the fans from both clubs were magnificent.... City brought a huge banner to show support and just after kickoff, Bradley was being carried back to I presume a car to take hm back north and he got a great ovation from the main stand as he walked by.
My heart always goes out to any family faced with such a terrific blow. All we all of us can do is pray/hope that what time is available is truly cherished and full of memories...

Its heart wrenching to see kids with terminal illness( No parent should see their child suffer) hopefully we as fans can give the parents something to hold onto?
Memories.
Re: Everton v Sunderland
I remember the next day after he was initially brought out and his justgiving page.
He amount of Evertonians donating was immense
Heartbreaking for the parents, I just don't know what I would do if that was my daughter, it would destroy me.

Re: Everton v Sunderland
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is available to face Sunderland following a minor calf problem.
James McCarthy and Kevin Mirallas return after recovering from hamstring and groin injuries respectively.
Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is fit again after a knee problem and could make his first appearance since Boxing Day in place of Vito Mannone.
Jan Kirchhoff is back in training but will not be involved, while Steven Pienaar is doubtful with a calf injury.
Papy Djilobodji serves the last match of his suspension.
