Manchester City vs Everton
With the internationals out of the way (not strictly true at the time of writing) attention is once more focused on the Prem. Man City lost their last game, but this is their only blip so far for the league leaders and they'll be looking to bounce back. We don't seem to have gelled yet and with Jags coming back from England duty and Enner Valencia more distracted by police chases, the odds are stacked against us.
However, a battling 1-1 draw is on the cards, with Lukaku pouncing on a trademark Stones dawdle to score for us.

2-0 Everton, it'll be the Lescott thing all over again.
Every time we play them we will raise our game and then raise two fingers to Stones

I didn't want to wait any more in case I forgot and the 48 hours deadline passed and I was a victim of legitimate match thread theft.

Apparently Lukaku has a thigh injury from playing for Belgium.

1-0 sneaky win for the mighty blues - a last minute winner on the breakaway with Valencia running the length of the pitch chased by his ex-wife, the cops, Doris the tea lady, and Duncan's best pigeon.

I blame Martinez first, Suarez second.

Re: Manchester City vs Everton
I don't think City are the same team without'' De Brune'' I fancy a draw in the making.

Re: Manchester City vs Everton
If we don't raise our performance from the last couple of games, we'll be humiliated. But I think we will raise it, and it'll be close, but I still think we'll lose. 2-1
Re: Manchester City vs Everton
I think the De Bruyne injury has had a big effect on their last few performances. The dont get the ball up the field nearly as quick enough and they're vulnerable out wide so Bolaise might get some joy. We will need to work very hard though but as you have seen from the Spurs game, they can be got at if you press them high. Our front 4 need to be at the top of their game but we always seem to be a bit dozy after an international break.

Romelu Lukaku and Phil Jagielka have recovered from thigh problems and Darron Gibson is fit. .. We are saved

Re: Manchester City vs Everton
Cleverley in for Barkley, Foofoo in for Miralles. No Baines in squad which is a huge below. City to attack Oviedo side without mercy. Not so confident now. Hope Ronald has a plan!

Re: Manchester City vs Everton
Not sure what kind of creativity we'll see from the inner 3 midfielders today.
Re: Manchester City vs Everton
After a really tough first 5 minutes, the last couple of minutes have been better. Freekick now for us some 25 yards out.
Re: Manchester City vs Everton
Sane goes down in the box like a bag of spuds, thankfully the ref doesn't fall for it (pun intended).
Re: Manchester City vs Everton
Oviedo needs to avoid picking up a booking or he'll be even more at a disadvantage against Sane.
Re: Manchester City vs Everton
City all over us, and now have a freekick on the edge of the box.
If they score early on, we are in big big trouble.
