first match I've had a chance to watch so far this season. Very much enjoyed Bolassie and Gueye, and nice to see Kev moving infield to make room fro Bolassie.

Everton just donated 200K to that 5 year old Sunderland kid suffering from cancer who was mascot for the game. Absolute class. Sunderland v Everton - Page 5 Action-s

Class!  Very much a game of 2 halves.
Genius substitution at half time, even though Barkley hadn't done a lot wrong. But it gave us so much more width and Lukaku was unplayable.

Onward and upward.   cheers

Well
I didn't see that coming
It was a poor first half and I thought we were going to struggle 2nd half
Ronald Koeman again calls it right. Takes off a poor Barkley at the start of 2nd half and we really start playing

I am getting more impressed with RK each game
There were some great performances in the 2nd half and great to see Lukaku back in the goals.

◾Ronald Koeman is the first Everton manager since Thomas McIntosh in 1919 to win his first two competitive away games in charge of the club.

◾This is only the second time in Premier League history that Everton have won as many as 10 points in their opening four games of a season - the other was in 2006-07 when they finished sixth.

I asked my Norwegian Shite supporting co-worker if the Shite were in the top three as well. Actually, I phrased it like a question. He looked at me for a moment, and then he couldn't help but start laughing.

Was just looking at his Virgin Giving page

http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=BradleysFight

The Recent Donors list goes on to 45 pages of donations made today. Fair play to Sunderland for raising the awareness, and fair play to us for propelling it into more mainstream news with our donation. I imagine his parents are feeling extremely overwhelmed by how it's taken off overnight.

Great second half. Koeman man of the match for me - subbing Ross for Geri and shifting Bolassie out to the left worked a treat.  And the fact he did it at half time rather than at 75 mins spoke volumes.  He doesn't fuck around, he tells it like it is, and he has the players looking twice as fit as they were under Martinez.  Defence looked much more solid with Williams in it and Gueye in front of him.  Lukaku being used much better too, using his strength to back into people and turn them, being given pinpoint crosses right on his bonce, and being put through into one on one situations.

We're this season's Leicester, we're going to win the fucking lot. Bring on Boro, we'll be top of the league by the beginning of October. Who the fuck is David Moyes anyway?

Given our fixtures, that's not implausible at all. We've got tougher tests to come, but great to see us getting those bread and butter points on the board for the first time in three seasons.

Reading the reports, I don't think the Total Raised figure above includes Everton's donation and I think they've already met their target to start treatment.

It is an amazing gesture. With the frankly obscene amount of money going around in the game, you would think there would be more similar stories knocking about.
